Hrm no, I'm not talking about the Opening or Ending songs, but there is a sweet song near the end, I don't remember exactly when though, probably when Barry torments Al about not beeing real. It has some sort of chorus with children, I would really love if someone could tell me what that song is ? I found it really nice so please, help me out !

I know what song you're talking about. I'm pretty sure it's been played in plenty of others. Problem is, I have no idea what the title is. We'll see when the OST comes out.

yea this has been played before although maybe a variation such as at the beginning of ep 04, dunno what the name of the song is though... although i'd like to get it myself

ahh yes, that song...i actaully came visiting these forums again to see if i could find the name of that song. The song has a sort of angelic feel to it... anyways if anyone finds the name of it plz do tell.

So far there are a few song names that I haven't heard b4.

Mienai Yume
Tsukigai
Shunkan
Iryuuhin...

not sure which is, gotta check them all out XD

Mienai Yume and Tsukigai are on the Melissa (1st OP) single. Shunkan and Iryuuhin are on the Kesenai Tsumi (1st ED) single.

You're right; it was in the end of episode 2 as well. Blah, looks like we'll just have to wait for BGM soundtrack.

Edit: Okay, I did some research, and this is what I found.

Track 32 is probably the background music we're looking for...it certainly doesn't sound English to me, so it might be Russian perhaps? ^^;;

That's what most of the Chinese / Japanese forums call Edward... they simply refer to him as "bean (pea)"...and to see the soundtrack coincidentally name him the same way...XD

That does look like russian, but then I can't seem to translate it with babelfish XD

it translates as "vtbfshs"....

but a quick search of the russian text in google and a few cross reference I've come to the conclusion that the text literally means "Brothers".

Makes sense since the FMA production team went to Russia to record the music with a full Russian orchestra.

This song is in Russian ... I coudln't find it either ... but it has some really fitting lyrics (the girl says something like "older brother please don't cry") ... we see Ed sitting there all in despair ... I wish everyone could understand it, it would make the scene more powerful. It's a shame I don't get any access to russian folksongs, but if i find this I'll post a link.

Edit: The song is saying: "please don't cry and despair older brother, it was not solely your fault, we all have one road..."

It seems the song was written to fit the story.

ya.. that is right.. i got tt soundtrack

track 32 is the soundtrack of that nice sad background russian music... its title is "БРАТЬЯ", means "brothers". With the harp and the kids singing, it really matches the story of the Elric brothers.

pm me if u want it or some1 teach me how to put the song somewhere for u guys to d/l...

Yeah, that song is played when Al says he always wants to be by Ed's side, and when Barry is speaking to him from what I remember. I want it also if anyone manages to track it down...

got the song, very nice, but not as great as I have expected. I guess it just fit the anime scenes so well that it feels better when watching the anime... also I guess now it's no longer an ambient background song, it's more obvious that how bad the singer is with Russian words...

well. they are just kids.. cant expect them to sing like a pro.... anyway though the singing is not very good, the lyrics are very nice and touching
