I do find something weird though, in the episode they showed us his stats after he leveled up and it was showing his S stats, and not his reset stats.

They showed the old stats followed by -> I 0, as in before/after on the same sheet.

Dude, it's common courtesy to at least read the last 2-3 pages(where it was discussed btw) before rehashing old topics.

And I'd fully agree with you if his stat image wasn't posted just 1 page before I made my post

Also it wasn't discussed in the last two pages from there either, at least neither the words stat nor reset fell.
So if its common courtesy to read the last 2-3 pages I did nothing wrong by only reading the last 2

There is nothing special about the dagger... However, the material - minotaur horn is considered a good item drop. Therefore, making Bell's dagger using the minotaur horn is considered to be a great dagger for his level since minotaur horn is quite hard as you can see from Bell's battle with that minotaur.

Normally, I wouldn't say anything, but Somethindarker is correct here. The answer to your question was just 4 posts above yours.

I like the new guy. I don't think he'll win best bro this season, which belongs to a certain Ogre's best friend, but it is refreshing to see another great guy companion. Animes don't have enough great guy companions in general.

I can understand Hestia's excitement for achieving a normal title for Bell. It would have been so much worse if he had a title like "Mino-tan" or something really bad.

Especially since other god(esse)s must have bullied/teased her by trying to get her a ridiculous title. Or maybe it's just very competitive.

It's kind of a cop out skill, but it does make sense in context when you consider that the show takes a surprisingly realistic route regarding chugging potions in the middle of a fight
actually, the show is completely ignoring potions, but several fights since the beginning should have had Bell using potions, including the saving of Lili, where he drank his only HIGH potion of the mind type to recover enough to still cast firebolt. Without it, between his fight in the fog and the ants, he would have gone mind zero before the end.

BTW, I didn't mention it, but there are High potions and "normal" potions. Normal healing potions don't close the wound, they just restore part of the stamina. furthermore, it's not a complete restoration of the stamina, since it was established that the Argonaut skill drain more stamina than what is restored by a single normal health potion. Normal potions can be considered to have a high price for a beginner adventurer, but still somehow affordable as long as you don't use a lot.

High potions are very pricey. Health potion in that category are really healing wounds, although it's partial. They at the very least stop haemorrhage in case of deep wound, it seems. Usually, bell didn't buy High potions because of the price. But his usual provider Naza Ersuisu (a character who was completely ignored in the anime, and that's too bad, she's the huge loser among danmachi character in the anime adaptation, since even though in the LN we have her backstory, and that she has quite an interesting personality, and we see her at least one time in most arcs, meaning she appears more than quite several characters that were here in the anime, she never appeared and will probably be ignored in the 5th arc as well)) kind of forced him to buy a high potion of the mind type when Bell asked her about the mind zero effect, right after he fell unconscious in the dungeon while trying his spell (She did it with the obvious intention to get money from him since he's so easy to deceive and she knows that very well, but in the end, that potion pretty much saved Lili later on).

Seems like very high level healing potions exist (I think they were called elixir or something like that?) which pretty much heal anything but death. I suppose however, that the price goes through the roof.

Before entering the dungeon, Bell party always restock potions. Most of them are carried around in Lili's bag.

Anime only watcher here. This is really interesting information. Information I've also been wondering about since the first set of eps.

The anime really should have shown this if only to really take home the importance and dangers of dungeon travels/magic use outside of lol, you can die.

Well, if the anime intend to show all the important stuff, it would have been like 16 episodes++. The problem in the anime is more of striking a balance between plot, important information, fanservice, comedy and the keeping fan interested. In this case, they want to keep the last few episodes for the upcoming and had to cut off the few parts that might have been interesting to know or what could have been fun to watch. Can't blame them for that, that is why reading Light Novel or the manga is needed.

I see, but he looked so suspicious to me... Let's see what happens then for next week's episode!

What part exactly was suspicious? Never got the vibe myself so I'm genuinely curious.

Hestia is awesome anyway, so no complaints from me.

That elf-nee-san with glasses is better though

Spoiler for welf:

Those are his stats and ranks where Somethindarker has already explained in the post above.

Every time he levels up, the stats will reset to I 0 again. But a level 2 adventurer with G 250 agility will be faster than a level 1 adventurer with A 900 agility

And he leveled up in just one month where it takes years for a normal adventurer to level up. At this rate, he can have the same level as Level 5 Ais in less than one year. Most of the adventurers spend their entire life just to level up to level 3.

Level 1 Bell with almost all S stats defeated a level 2 minotaur. There's no way for a normal level 1 adventurer with D or C stats to beat it. But I think it doesn't really matter after he leveled up because those stats are start from scratch again.
Those old stats don't completely go away they become a kind of hidden bonus that is added to the new reset stats. There is a bit of question as to just how big a bonus they are but it is there.

The thing is, player in RPG would never waste a slot for the exp booster. Players would choose a cheap skill that allow them to one-shot the high-level monsters without any drawback, so they can grind at the best exp place fast and efficient.

Well we saw the entirety of volume 4 in one episode. It's too bad they skipped through the naming convention of the gods for time sake, would of been funny to see all the chunnibyou style names they come up with. Looks like we'll make it through volume 5 for the finale.
