This is quite standart fare, but it's already better than previous season generic adaption (Fafnir(?) and Duo) as well as better than this season chaos dragon. Nothing new, but jokes were relatively amusing and no character put me off completley (maybe with exception of Tsundere girl).

If it will take couching part seriously and focus girls ability instead of MC OPness it could be even good. Anyway I think can keep watching this.

I think this episode dragged; it felt like they ended the episode at the point where I would have expected the commercial break.

The animation is abysmal.. but I really got a soft spot for this kind of plot
someone who is strong but despised horribly by everyone and he just didn't give any care about the rumor *he even enjoyed it*

well, since I like the plot, I don't think the story would be worse enough for me to lose interest in it.
and the banter between the student reminded me with Saenai Heroine so I have no complain

The VA is just sounds too plain and boring... so it somehow kill the excitement
give better animation please!

Doesn't seem too bad, and the fight at the beginning had decent animation. Depending on how they play this (pleasepleaseplease focus on the actual instruction method instead of being generic battle harem #9472) it could turn out well.

Oh boy... if this is the attitude to expect of viewers when it comes to "magic highschool" settings, I can already see how Rakudai's first EP will be received in Fall...

Though to be fair, this first episode of Kuusen Madoushi really had some issues like the aforementioned illogical accusations.

To be fair, Rakudai at first glance might seems like the same thing. BUT, at least it offers something that could might interest the viewers if they keep going.
Then, we have this. Its really generic but it does not offer anything new. Even the interesting plot of knowing why he is a traitor is just left there the whole chapter that it might not make anyone want to keep watching.

The whole "traitor" story reminds me of FFVII with Nanaki's father in the Cosmo Canyon. I guess it will end up to be like that... just that the supposed traitor is still alive in this case. I think there was something similar in another anime or more too, but I can't remember what anime it/those is/are.

Episode 2:

I wonder if Misora's personality will improve. She is very annoying to watch in this show imo. And anyways, the story is very dull so far with a generic finish. Rico best girl though.

Rico is even more one dimensional than Misora at the moment. Lecta is an uninteresting doormat. I know this is just their proto personalities at the moment but it doesn't help to generate much interest in them. The MC is more interesting at the moment with the mystery on just what happened to him that day. He does seem interested in his new teaching job and helping the girls improve. Still things are going pretty slow and will hopefully pick up once the plot kicks in and starts moving more strongly.

from what i understand it takes 4 volumes to get the three girl over the biggest problems with themselves.
