Since the three generals are based on storybook villains. The big bad wolf, oni, witch.. maybe Majorina's beautiful alternate form is based on the evil stepmother character in Snow White storybook.

Anything's possible but defeating the same villain twice would be boring imo.

Well, maybe they can upgraded it to Pierrot Mk II...
Somehow, i feel that Pierrot screentime is too little despite the tension building in each passing episode. So when he was defeated in less than 5 minutes, i kinda think, that's it?? Why not dedicated an episode for defeating Pierrot?

I just watched episode 22, episode quite touching about their choice to stay and save Candy or go back to their families

Because he was only fodder to get them to Princess form and more merchandise sales.

Can't comment either way since I don't know what the abbreviations stand for.

Futari wa and Max Heart.

The Dark King is sort of not very good at winning fights.

You too? I think I will watch Fresh too. I watched HC and it's really good. I watched Suite, HC and smile. Don't know what I should watch next so I decided on Fresh. I hope It's good.

Fresh is worth watching for the Eas arc.

Good luck trudging through the horror that is the second half pre-Northa (And to some extent, post-Northa's introduction)

I think Fresh Precure is pretty good, all the main characters are quite likeable, the character design are a bit more mature looking, and Love/Cure Peach was an awesome lead character IMO and my favourite of the group, unlike more recently where the other Precure seems to take more spotlight than the lead. Also according to the Japanese netizens Fresh Precure was the new turning point which sets a lot of new standards in the franchise for the later ones to follow so going backwards from the new ones won't be much of a shock either.

The only problem, and not a small one, is that the artwork of the show doesn't age well, especially coming back from shows like Smile. In fact it looked a bit cheaply made and the eyes of the character always looks like they were starring into empty space which was a bit freaky to me. Also the acting of some of the supporting cast was stiff. But overall it didn't distract from the good characters and story with above average execution, worth watching I think.

If Fresh is above average for you, I dread to think what below average would be.

It's still worth watching. It's Precure. Just don't set your standards SS/HC high.

It's clear that opinions vary which precure series are good, which ones are average, and what is barely watchable.

Heartcatch is ok, in my opinion. Just don't get overhyped on your expectations.

Plotwise it's a mess
Artwise it's a mess
Designwise it's... strange
Characterwise it has the strongest and most fun character interactions out of any Precure series. It's well well worth watching for that alone.

Also it has the two best movies I've seen that aren't DX movies (I've also heard the second MH movie is better, but still waiting on seeing that).
