If you either removed, or even better, switched that tragedy tag for a harem one I could consider reading this~. Though the parody tag doesn't help motivating me either.

The parody tag is a bit...like how the character remarks "at least I wasn't killed by a truck". I'd leave harem to those who can write it well to a satisfying conclusion...oh wait. |

As of first arc:
It got my attention in the first chapter all the way till the end of the arc. I do like his humorous tsukkomis even though it brings him more trouble.. Should have known that the happy days would not end well...we were all just waiting for when it will happen. Despair can't be felt so strongly at this moment as its just the starting few chapters and we're not emotionally invested in the MC right now. (but...I've seen even more despairing events..not that I'm complaining that the MC does not have enough despair. Too much of it will just go past the pity-the-MC line) Technically the flow of the arc follows quite similarly to the usual plots but even so, I wasn't bored of reading it. Keep up the effort |

Hmm...getting more invested in the MC, is it just a matter of more chapters(hence more time) or do I need to up my emotional situations even more? I have tried to keep it real with how a 20 year old guy would act(means I cut out the weird blushings, stammerings and going limp in front of the heroine. going limp, haha). And even his despair and agony I have tried to portray as best as I could. So...is it just a matter of more chapters or much better writing? |

Well...Rigel is half-japanese so...the sudden words make sense in a way. Why is he half-Japanese you ask? Some of the jokes he make are very meta to Japanese culture, can't have anyone else cracking them. But the Japanese words stop at CH3, so it shouldn't be too much of a problem. And there is literally like 3 Japanese words in the entire ~50k words story.

I couldn't help but read the Synopsis while using the deep movie guy voice.
