Yes, Ayu is still working on the series. It's been going slowly because we've been running it through three quality checks since the series has been worked on by something like 10 translators. I personally have t/led 14, 22, and 30 and am scheduled to do 25 and it's looking like I might do 32 and 33, too, since those people haven't come through yet. In the meanwhile, though, I was placed on QC2 (translation check) about two weeks ago--so far I've turned in 20, 21, 23, and am working on 24. The amount of work involved depends on who originally t/led it, and my anal self has turned in as few as 20 and as many as 70+ fixes for a single episode.

Once I've gotten them in, though, the process has been moving remarkably fast...it's like the dam breaking. We're making a push to get as many episodes out as possible at the end of November. The editors, typesetters, and our fearless encoder have been doing a wonderful job--I think we're as ready to get these out as you are to see them. In the meantime, though, if you want someone to blame for the slowness of the series right now, blame me...pretty much every episode from 24 up is waiting on me before they can go any further, so feel free to send your hate mail this way :P

Oh, and thanks for watching! We're glad you like the series

Its alot easier to love than to hate. SO I CHOOSE TO NOT LUV BUT to you.

But lol, its really been a while and since its already been that long, im hope to see like batches of 5eps ^^...I wouldnt mind to wait until the end of november.

Yes, you should really calculate before posting...
One reason to check out saizen's releases is that saizen encodes directly from the DVDs.
For the rest I will refrain from comments about editing style/TS, but I think everyone should give saizen a chanse before saying anything.

No... Cause I encode Ayu's and believe me.. my precious HDD space is taken up by these huge dvd images.

Other than that uhh, I haven't watched saizen's so I can't really comment.. and even then I am baised. Sooo anyway... for the people that wait for ours... you have great patience..

I'm sure Saizen's is quality stuff.

come on people, be nice to each other ^_^ doesn't matter if you watch ayu or saizen's version as long as you decide for yourself which version to watch, no one forces you to watch ayu's or saizen's.

i think we both do our best to release quality products .

Nice stuff guys. I downloaded your ep 19-23 yesterday and i have to say they were awsome. Nice to see Wildstriker also putting some character development in there .
Can't wait for more, as this series is getting better and better.

There seems to be a healthy competition now between Ayu and Saizen. Saizen released episodes 22 and 23 while Ayu countered with episodes 19-21 and 22-24 to inch ahead again.

Is this a race to the finish?

Although I'm not following the fansubs of Wild Striker (as I'm taking my own sweet time picking up the R2s), I think I should still thank both groups and give them the encouragement in their efforts.
