The biggest thing about ichika is that he genuinely seems to care about his friends. The fact that he's unintentionally stabbing them in the heart might cause problems for his confidence.

I'm trying to find a balance here. It was true that by playing canon rules, you can preserve original feel, but as TvTropes put it: One half of the crossover will be rendered useless.

It's author's job to get around that, either nerfing one half (which I did, to a smaller extent) or have one specialize in something the overpowered half cannot do (which I did as well).

Nope, I believe they're much weaker. But judging from the shit they pulled, they are faster, and more agile. They also can Insta-gib giant biomechanical monster using nifty nanotechnology trapping formation rather than massive firepower, which I.S. couldn't do.

Of course, it's from my perspective when comparing the two anime, rest assured, nobody but creators can be sure

I.S. also has much better defense, but I'm not sure about endurance (since I.S. operational time is dependent on battery usage, while Sonic Divers has preset time of 21 minutes if you disregard battle damage)

Her only upgrade is in that she still can use limited AIC and preset Railgun in ST, while in Canon, those functions are disabled when she's using heavy packet "Panzerkannone".

Just the usual: Faster reflex, denser muscle, much stronger bones, and greatly enhanced immunity and recovery (probably prolonged lifespan too). Her weird eyes is useful at certain time, but mostly a distraction.

The seemingly peaceful morning fills the air as the Sun shines its might upon the hilly grassy plains overlooking an IS development base, which sports the Dunois Corporation emblem in all its glory.

Observing the base from a distance is the cloaked drone replica of the Schwarzer Regen IS, attentively watching group of grey-colored Rafale-type IS units arranged on a tarmac in their standby forms.

The drone rattles to life, flashing its visors as its holographic time display beeps while flashing the time [0900].

*Zhnn* *Tiii* *Tiii*

Scanning the tarmac, the drone’s combat systems quickly marks the IS units as a sequence of targets. The drone slowly decloaks, charging up its shoulder-fixated hi-caliber railcannon while its visor’s targeting reticule moves around then abruptly locks onto a nearby, fairly large concrete shed.

Upon switching to thermal vision, the drone notices that the shed is expelling heat via cables that are attached to an electrical buggy. The drone assumes the shed as its target, aiming its railcannon at it as the charge reaches optimal level.

Support clamps at the side of the drone’s feet pops open and plant itself onto the ground, holding the drone in place as its reticule locks on to the concrete shed with the railcannon humming loudly upon reaching maximum charge.

*BDOOM*

The drone fires a charged solid slug, launching it off the railcannon’s muzzle at the speed of sound as it instantly penetrates the concrete shed.
