Actually shipping depends on the situation, those who can make logical arguments for and the connection with their shipped pairing make those logical connections to make the pairing 'superior' to others, while those who cannot just say "This is shipping, logic get kicked to the curb" and feel happy.

Do you have to take everything so seriously?

Shipping can also happen when the writer forces a particular pair more for plot than actual 'development'. Or just what we the reader want to see happen. More often it happens because we want our particular view/dream to occur. "These two would work *so* much better than the hero/heroine".

Oh the bright side with this series, there's not much shipping to do as opposed to a standard rom-com or harem series. (Or is it not? :v)

No, actually the problem is that those who can make logical arguments (who rarely call themselves "shippers") tend to (logically) not be as concerned about it all as the rabid, illogical, caps-locked horde of psychos that usually propagate shipping wars. "Logical" shippers tend to put out their justification and then either run screaming from the inevitably resultant shitestorm, or lose what logic they had in the process of trying to defend their ship.

And the logical ones tend to realize that no ship is "superior" to any others, unless you rate "superior" by "whether the author has officially supported it", at which point the discussion is academic. Shipping is usually just a matter of opinion.

By 'superior' I mostly meant it is mostly ' the author supported that pairing more than yours, so hush, our paring is more cannon than yours' thing.

in this situation, I'd say take a moment with twix... but, I doubt any kinds of excuse wouldn't fool them so... and assuming that's rock-kun having his genital about to get shot by five hot chicks and I bet that's not turning him on at all

Alright, now that the 3-year-long Roberta arc is over, I can start reading it.

Fabiola is so adorable. I'm right where she pretended to be a Cylon with Revy, and I almost died. She really needs to come back to Roanapur every now and then. I'm going to miss her when I'm done with the arc.

can someone explain to me why there were only 17(!!) pages in the latest chapter? And how come it's irregular? isn't this series supposed to be monthly?

Is it because the mangaka had a little dip or something? I mean 17 pages! in one month? Still happy we get some but still .. :/

I don't believe that Shouji Sato (HOTD artist) is working with Daisuke Sato (HOTD author) on Triage X. The credits only list Shouji Sato on that series. From what I've heard it's Daisuke not writing that's holding back HOTD.

It's just so weird to see Rei Hiroe writing so much on Twitter about such random things.

By the way, while doing some research about the Black Lagoon manga, I found stuff about what is being called the Black Lagoon Masterpieces. They are two volumes and the first is called "Born to Rock" and the second is called "Rock to the Core". I can't get a clear answer about what these are.
