Glen is not strong, but Smart. his battle style consist of a lot magical tools. in Vol 5, he spend all his saving money to buy magical tools as weapon to save Sisty against his former colleagus, former royal magician (The Fool VS The Justice) and their fight destroy a portion of town.

Very weak.

Jadis, The Justice (The man using glasses in Opening anime) told that in fighting, Jadis can win 99 out of 100. But Glenn can change the result of the fighting to his advantege so he can win 1 out of 100. It's like destiny favor Glenn for his winning. That's why Jadis make Glenn his arc enemy and if he win, Jadis can overcame "The Taboo".

Glenn also good at cooperated fighting make up of their weakness or strenghtening their advantage. His fighting was out of book of magician and Glenn is good at martial art, not expert nor master. His mana capacity = normal, Chanting speed = normal, He know alot of Magic (1 of them was "Extinction Ray" that except Glenn, only Serica can use it, but Glenn need catalys if he want to use it). Good at markmanship but because he already not in army, he cannot get magic bullet so just using normal lead bullet and bomb.

So basically,Glenn is just your regular Average Joe but a smart Average Joe? Sounds like Jadis is a huge sore loser. I'm interested to know this "The Taboo" that you mentioned. Any further details for that?

Well, it was mentioned at the start, that he is average, so why are people surprised...
From the start, we know that he uses head when he fight, so nothing surprising. And at the end of the second fight with Justice, he will get Sisti help, so yeah.
But at least Glenn told Sisti about Sera.

Almost everythink of Sistine similar with Sera. Hair, skin, face, idealism, & even magic. The only different is just personality. Sistine is Arrogant and Sera is Elegant.

Sera was a wind attribute mage, same as Sisti. (Sisti always blow up Glenn with wind magic hehe)
Sera was no.3 between royal empire magicians with title Empress, she was from Wind Battle Maiden tribe (Wind Caller) if I remember well.

It's a relief that Glenn doesn't see Sisti as her replacement.

About their code name, I'm interested to know who holds the code name Death, Devil and of course Lovers. Those code names seemed kinda interesting.
