More like Duke Bistal using Soltick to fight Satou who was retainer of Muno which in Duke Oyugock's factions. The fame of Satou already rivalry the royal family. Soltich is the grandson of Duke Bistal and if he become the king, Duke Bistal will get a lot of influence in kingdom. That is why Satou's fame are eye sore to Duke Bistal if he cannot using him.
Which the population choose between commoner that has a lot of great accomplishment and prince who will inherit the throne without any accomplishment. Please note the girl he is in love with has flat out told him 1) she loves him but can only marry a god. 2) she will tell him how to become a god if he fulfills his role as a mortal. 3) said purpose is to leave descendants the goal she set him is "have children with 100 women." He has been since more or less actively trying to avoid this fate while she has been having meetings with the ever growing harem behind his back.

Liza is about the only one that hasn't shown a major crush for the MC and is mainly shown as familial love but the have been a few times she has possibly crossed over but she's pretty much stuck in knight mode around him.

Zena is still around and has been traveling with the main cast off and on between being power leveled with the reset of the secondary harem

Well, in general, it is understandable, since he wants to become a god, then after this, mere mortals will not need him.

It's more he is trying to stay true to Aze (completely missing the point she set the goal to try to break him of that mindset) as he is just as close to many of the other girls. He is engaged to 2 of them and it doesn't help that nearly all of them are not only underage but out side of his age strike zone (in the mid 20's).

The only main reason why Satou hasn't banged any of his harem members is because of Mia and Arisa. Those two cockblocking him 24/7.
