Thumbs up Marvel Anime

What do you guys think of this upcoming Iron Man anime and perhaps even a wolverine one? they're being aired in Japan soon. Im excited. Gotham Knight was pretty good.

Honestly, anime is just a marketing format for me in this case. Anime meant primarily for Western audiences simply isn't something I'm looking for in a Japanese medium. I'll be sure to fully ignore the upcoming Marvel titles, much like I have ignored Gotham Knight already.

To be honest, I am not interested.

However, I think it is a good idea for them to come up with the concept.

I believe Batman has a good following in Japan, so a Batman anime isn't that abnormal. Witchblade was ok as well. Now Marvel ones, I dunno about them. I may check them.

Anime or not, Iron Man is Iron Man, and I'll definitely be watching it

Wolverine was a good comic to begin with and now its even made more spectacular by turning into a manga. Really great new cant wait to manga version of Iron Man and Wolverine

I'm a huge Marvel fan, so I'll be watching regardless of whether it's anime or not. Wolverine only though? I'd love for them to do X-men, especially if it's a storyline from the comics. I know we already have Wolverine & the X-men (western style cartoon), but it's so non-canon it's not even funny.

It would be interesting to see them take a concept and re-interpret it from a japanese viewpoint and cultural setting. Somewhat like the Indian reinterpretation of Spiderman I suppose.

But it doesn't appear they're really doing anything along those lines.
