True, but my point is that if one author can deem it possible for a Vampire to regenerate from that state, I don't think another will think it impossible for someone to regenerate from a slightly better condition. Not to mention I had the strong impression that Akasha was still alive when we saw Alucard emanating power.

Then there's the simple fact we've seen Akasha's regeneration ability is WAY above even normal vampiric levels. When she knitted her arm and shoulder back together in seconds, from ribbons, Akuha was pretty shocked. Given Akuha's assassination experience and probable experience fighting other vampires and monsters previously, this should give some idea that this was not normal, and is likely one of Akasha's shinso talents; going down the route/idea that different individuals possess different skillsets, with Shinso vampires probably gaining access to even more extensive skillsets/further developed bloodline abilities.
Essentially Akasha was holding back as was lampshaded in the previous chapter, she's shown extremely potent regenerative abilities, was capable of taking on Alucard with some help, and Akuha never got a chance to finish her off because Moka interrupted the fight. Pretty solid 50/50 that she could still be going. Even if she can't reattach her bottom half, she may still be able to heal her top half, and essentially end up wheelchair bound (cliche!), either way she may not be dead yet.

Magin's gonna whack me with 'Kou-chan' for this, but I suffered through select episodes of the anime again just to refresh my memory of certain things. Looking back, I have to say that the art suffered a downward slide throughout the entire series. I mean, compare episode two of the first season, the one where Kurumu is introduced and look how well it is animated. Heck, even the worst looking episode of the first season just kills nearly any episode of the 2nd season (except maybe the last one) in terms of art quality.
Season 1 - Ep 2 My fav image - why couldn't they keep this level of quality!? Even Kurumu looks great here! Season 2 Randoms ... Even though it's Ura-chan...

it would be nice to have a good studio do a revamp version of rosario+vampire that stays real close to the source material. i wouldnt even mind if they cut out some chapters to get to the chapters that move the story and give charater development. hell most of the second season and ghual arcs would make for a great anime . id say the same studio thats doing high school of the dead would be a good for revamp
edit- i just noticed ive been more active lately oh btw ive been keeping an active eye on share for the ch33 |

... MADHOUSE is doing Highschool of the dead. As I've stated before, there's one huge problem with them- they always manage to completely change the ending of a series
And Tempest... you asked for it *whacks him with Kou-chan*

Imo, I think Season 2 was better in art...
And guys: A remake/continuation of the anime (PLEASE BE REMAKE!) may depend on R+V success in the U.S... Around 2011 it will be started/out. And maybe when the company sells it's rights to another or gets back on track financially. And wasn't the whole anime just for fanservice...? From comment on YouTube that got this info from wiki: (Not sure if it's official) ENG DUB CAST: laura bailey is kurumu yuri lowenthal is tsukune (Sasuke from Naruto) stephanie sheh is moka (inner and outter) colleen o'shaughnessey is yukari kate higgins is mizore (Sakura from Naruto and Talho from Eureka 7) crispin freeman is ginei bridget hoffman is ruby |

...I swear, Crispen Freeman always get's the 'Burning Finger' seiyuu's roles...XDD
And I'm rather curious as to how MadHouse would change the ending - I mean honestly, can it be as bad as it already is?

Well, I'm not saying that Madhouse would make it a bad ending, per say... in fact, in terms of endings, Madhouse generally does pretty good ones. It's just that they throw away the source material and make up their own ending... and it usually happens about 3~4 episodes before the end
And Sasuke as Tsukune... somebody kill me now *if you can't tell, I abhor Sasuke with a passion)

That noose just randomly hanging over there is looking very useful right about now...
so, they take an anime that was horrible in the first place, and are going to make it worse? Will the nightmare never end? heh... if only there was a page to see how well Funi does with their sales of series (but, I suspect that's something only the corporate workers would get to see)

Btw, the anime was supposed to be for fanservice. I kinda find it hard to believe Stephanie Sheh can do a voice besides cute and bubbly ones. Haha, and I wonder what their expressions will be towards the very pervy moments. |
