Far from it. It's more in the lines of PA Works. The lighting is a little similar to KyoAni's but the backgrounds are from their past works.

HOLY ASS GOD BROTHERFAKER!

I swear to god if this an Alpril Fools joke blood will run freely in the streets as I dance in it.

This is quite possibly my favorite news since forever into infinity. I pray every year since I first got my hands on the translation for this. Finally... finally...

Yeah, KEY did it again with the April Fools real announcement. I think David Production is a good choice for this project.

Hopefully they will create it in movie format. It just begs for it.

Thus it has been confirmed. This is perhaps the greatest single piece of news for an adaptation I've head in many a year. At this point all I need is my Spice and Wolf Season 3 and I can die happy. There is but one way to react:

Excuse me... I need to go chase some onion ninjas out of my house....

Guess David Production's job on Jojo convinced Key to give them the project. Hearing OnoD iced the cake.

And now our MC will finally have a face! Hooray!

I'm looking forward to this much more so than Rewrite.

I take it that timer is for the actual release or the release of more information?

Brilliant. Key fans have been asking for years, and at long last it's finally happening.

This is definitely the more exciting Key project for me, and perfectly suited for bringing back the short series OVA format.

So this is definitely an OAV? That seems the most logical fit.

From the makers of JoJo...

You and me both.

I'm holding back tears as I finally confirm that it's happening.

Gosh I've been wanting some feels for quite a while now.

AMAZING trailer, but I strongly advise people who aren't familiar with the original VN to avoid seeing it, because it contains some spoilers.

BTW. It's 5-episode ONA-series based on VN (starts in July) and movie based on Hoshi no Hito novel (comes out September 3rd)

I dunno why, but the designs and Suzuki Keiko's performance are a bit off in my books (restarted the game for some comparison), but well enough serviceable.

I'm not exactly surprised that key is going on rampage when it comes to adaptations recently, but I'm quite surprised the production commitee hired david productions for this project. Quite curious how they will handle that.

I am so friggin' giddy for this I'm shaking in my shoes. Plus the fact that Hoshi no Hito is getting animated is just icing on this fanfuckingtastic news.

Great PV. The fact that we're getting the ONA on July this year is just...

I would echo Tempester though, PV is kinda spoilery, especially nearing the end.

Seeing the children in the PV got me shitting bricks. They're not only animating the VN, but Man of the Stars as well?!

I can't, I don't eves0ien;osojqhwbfngalbhnbamkr

Edit:

According to this, the VN is also going to be getting an HD remake!
