Second "project" out of 7 anniversary initiatives is some kind of online illustration voting. Well that got winded down fast. Still no details on the anime.

Back on topic, the art style and premise for Red Data Girl reminds me of Bungaku Shojo (Book Girl). If it's anything like that - I'm sold!

I don't think any of that clone stuff is relevant with a Hisaya Naoki original project. P.A. Works isn't limited to slice-of-life by any means, and Hisaya's writing is always complex and dark.

It's a novel adaptation and not a original project iirc. Btw there's a thread for Red Data Girl in the upcoming series section, so we should talk over there

EDIT: Nvm. I got mixed up with Red Data Girl and Sakura Kagura. They are completely different things and I got mixed up because Kishida Mel is involved in both of them.

New Slayers anime (possibly just OVA, does not specify) in production!

Maybe this time they'll focus on the novel arcs like they did with Slayers and Slayers Next and thus give us the good stuff?
