(This also reminds me that the "background chatter" in the game was often hilarious if you just let it play for a few minutes. )

Which will be one of the things we'll be losing once it's adapted.

At least I hope not.

PS. Please dont let them animate Itsusora. Or else we'll never hear the end of "OMG ITSUSORA RIPPED OFF FATE STAY NIGHT SHIT SUX". Much like how Nanatsuiro Drops "ripped off" Nanoha.

Not the way Yuuri sees it!

But in the end, he doesn't love Mashiro any less for it (even if he wishes he could just tiptoe away quietly without her noticing...) Now that you're reminding me about it, Mashiro does have some pretty major mood swings...

Speaking of things I hope get preserved in the adaptation (no spoilers), the timing of the appearance of the second OP in the game is just great, and I really hope they find some way to keep that same effect in the anime. That and the way the ED blends into the true ending. I'm sure it's too much to expect them to catch on those sort of subtle details, but man... in my mind this would make a great anime, at least!

I never thought of nanatsuiro drops ripping off of Nanoha, come to think of it, the anime was good to watch.

Anyone translate game seiyuus?

I mean, come on. You don't mess with perfection like this.
I wonder if they'll be keeping those odd background SFX noises during those training scenes. You know, the ones that make it sound more like a circus than training.

Can I get a CV list please? Also looking forward to this if it's in the Kannagi and Oinari-sama mold.

Mifuyu is voiced by Shizuka Itou. Ameri is voiced by Vocaloid Ren. Don't remember the rest. Mashiro's seiyuu is awesome and should be retained.

Wakamoto also voices a character... though I don't remember who.
Even though it has little to no chance of happening, it would be great if they chose to animate Mifuyu's route.

Well even if the anime isn't up to par I still have the new fandisc.

Yuuri's father, and he does a hilarious job of it at that. They've got to keep him for the anime. Good thing is, a lot of Media Factory productions do keep the PC VAs, but it just depends on what they decide to do for the PS2 version.

I for one don't even know whats this series all about, so at first that I also sees this resembling Kanokon and thinking the horny fox.

You could've thought Oinari-sama instead if all you saw was the fox-girl.

(Out of curiosity, what was it that gave you that impression? Is it something I said, or something you read elsewhere? Or is it just because it features a fox-girl and is based on adult game?)

Points:

- A Fox girl-deity.
- She looked alot, and I mean ALOT like fox-form Chizuru. The only differrence is the hair color;
- Having watched Kanokon, I had assumptions based on the aforementioned; and
- I didn't read your whole of your description of the series.

Okay, now that you mention it, there is some degree of resemblance there that I hadn't considered actually. But, ummm... I can't help but be reminded of another rather large difference (though, in fairness, Mashiro's no slouch...).

Yeah, anyway, perhaps there's an irony in saying there's less ero-focus in an adult game than in a shounen light novel series, but there you have it. ^^; (For those who must know, the difference being limited and isolated ero-scenes (that'll most likely be completely excised from the anime) in the context of an established romantic relationship, vs. an entire story that pretty much exists to tie borderline and explicit ecchi situations together.)

Forgot that Wakamoto voiced Yuuri's father.

...With that in mind, I propose Jun Fukuyama as Yuuri. For delicious irony.

So because the main heroine looked like the main heroine of another work clearly the two must be the same....... lol, if everything could be judged by the outer appearances of a mascot/character on an exterior cover/promo pic.

What notable roles did Jun Fukuyama have again?

Oh and Chizuru is a fox youkai. Mashiro is a fox goddess reincarnated.

(though to be technical she's a tayutai like all the other tayutai)

Because its a hentai game and harem category and not familiar with casual watchers like myself? I'm sorry for not being an 'ero-ge' (sp?) specialist like your do.

Although I've never played Tayutama, I've been collecting pictures of Mashiro since before the game came out because I'm a huge kemonomimi fan and she's one of the best I've seen. So I'm totally pumped for this. Hopefully it turns out well.

(PS some of the comments about erogames in ANN's thread about this announcement made me cringe. I'm not sure why I always bother reading threads there.)

Yes, that was a rather pathetic thread.
