It'll be nice to have some new Trigun material after all these years. Looks very promising and maybe it will spawn multiple movies.

Is it just me, or does "Trigun: Badlands Rumble" sound like a fighting game title?

Hell, I'd play it.

^^ It does sound a bit like one. Incidentally, when I first heard of I thought School Rumble was some hardcore shonen fighting series before I actually watched it.

I wonder if the movie's going to be like the early episodes of the TV series and manga (comedic) or the later ones (more serious) or a mix of the two. The trailer makes it look more like the former, but trailers sometimes lie.

Same here, that was a lot of fun.

And ironically it's setting makes it stand out just as much among todays anime, maybe even more with all the school settings dominating lots of shows.

With how much fun I already had watching this in the language that I never really watched the series, I really can't wait until Funi gets this out, provided that's with the main dub cast intact, I can only imagine how much heaven I'll be in watching this fun movie hearing Bosch's Vash, and Woolfwood and the insurance girls with the voices I got to know and love them with after all these years thanks to AS before I got to buy it.

C'mon Funi don't let us dub Trigun fans down. (Edit: Fortunately I totally expect they'll come through just like they have bringing back a lot of the most notable members of the Eva cast.)

Really awesome movie. I'm astonished how much this felt like Trigun of so long ago, they did a great job. Such nostalgia.

I miss the old days of anime. Don't make 'em like they used to.

We already do have Trigun series, lol.
Or are you speaking about new anime closer to manga original?

a new anime adaption much closer to the manga like FMA got with Brotherhood

they might consider it if the dvd and blu-ray sells pretty well in japan and in the U.S. Once again, a guy can dream right...

The movie was awesome. Lots of good action scenes, great humor and even a good story to go with it. Loved it!

Makes me wish there was an Outlaw Star movie as well.
