alright somehow i got masou shizuka in my army, does that mean i can't get leila any more as reinforcement?

leila is reinforcement

shizuka is a hidden character.

as long as you have a opening you can still get leila.

ah i thought she replaced leila b/c i was expecting her to show up sometime soon, but i got this 2 turn mage instead. is she worth using though? she comes with decent stats but i dont thinks he hits as hard as magic or maria

unfortunately Shizuka was added badly to the game as part of a patch, You can't H her or clear her. Her stats are also low as she is consider one of the more powerful mages in Rance 6.

Shizuka isn't bad (sticky ground can come in handy in particular), but there's a lot of better characters. I'd consider her fairly low among named characters, but better than most generic backrow characters. I haven't used her many times and don't really consider her worth the slot when I can get so many better characters. Actually, I usually don't bother with Magic either.

what does sticky ground give anyways, i havnt leveled her up yet so i cant see the description, unless there's another way i missed

Helps capture defeated enemies. If you were to get her early in the game or you're going for the Rance H-ing 300 women bonus, it could come in handy.

Mage characters in general are fairly weak in Sengoku Rance except for Sill, whose level is tied to Rance and has the ability to heal him and recover action fans for him to spam Rance Attack.

I don't bother with the other mages, really. They weren't worth the effort even for leveling purposes, full power Magic still gets OHKO'd by Gunagan, let alone survive against Orochi. And they're ridiculously slow.

Better to have monks who can convert action 1.

she has a funny story

though i find that end game, mages shine more than they do when you first get them. instead of hacking away at a foot soldier with warriors, i find mages cut through their hp a lot quicker. and white beam hits like a truck

look at the rance relationship chart and right next to Rance there is a section call Forrest of Kalar.

The mother's name is Pastel, she is the queen of the kalar and the Daughter's name is Reset.

absolutely no idea if she is canon or not.

I'm pretty sure rance has unborn son in the true history route, this was in one of those epilogue books, where kou is taking care of sill's frozen body.

and yea the trailer for rance 2 was pretty blaise, but i mean i wouldn't mind an rpg, and that group scene looks interesting.

most rance games are rpg except for rance7 and Kichikuou. and i am really looking forward to number 3 which is epic
