Fingers crossed. I've looked everywhere and couldn't find them. I do hope they're in stock here! The guilt of having played through this masterpiece without paying for it is not letting me sleep in peace. |

Which reminds me: When I bought Chiru from Mandarake, it was new, and it came with an "Umineko Dress Sticker" which featured a cute piece of BeatoxBattler artwork. I haven't opened it yet, because I don't know what it is.

It's a sticker for an iPhone, or other such device. I'm just keeping mine sealed since I neither own an iPhone, and it's very pretty. And Mandarake is actually an awesome source for Umineko stuff, and I think it's cheaper than amiami.

What a surprise to hear that Umineko's anime has been licensed outside Japan for an English release! As one of the few people who really liked the anime despite its flaws, I felt quite enthusiastic about the news...until I noticed that it will only be coming out on Blu-ray and apparently will not be on DVD.
I hear that both of the sets will be deluxe and come with hardcover art books. Those should be very nice, but even so it will be too hard for me to justify buying a useless and expensive Blu-ray set just to get them. I'm curious about what the art books will have in them. Now, NIS America, the company releasing it, is apparently a subsidiary of a Japanese games company. It's a long shot, but I wonder if there's a chance they might bring over the PS3-graphics and voice acted edition of the visual novels? I would very much like to own that. Wishful thinking, I'm sure. |

Well, depending on how much it would be, I could see myself throwing money to it, even if I can't enjoy the discs. I heard "Special edition" but I didn't know what it includes, and I would be more than willing for paying for it just for them. I'll have something nifty and support the possibility of having the games brought over.
