Maybe Kubo should have added another attack to Tensa Zangetsu's armor. Right now it's like, If getsugatenshou doesn't work Ichigo's screwed. He doesn't have any options. Also, he releases his Bankai way too often. The same is going on with his hollowfication. Seeing it too many times makes it boring.

Yeah, well you'll see no argument from me there. "lolwat" and "asspull" are about the most apt ways I could think of describing it as briefly as possible without digressing into an entire rant.

Point taken. So now that his powers are slowly fading away, here's to hoping he'll finally acquire a new batch of skills to add to his repertoire should he somehow regain the powers he's losing.

Yeh that really came out of nowhere though i makes me believe that if any Shinigami had ever used the most strong attack which drains them of power, they also would become power beasts.

Watched 6 last episodes of Bleach in a row. Enjoyable, but it's a pity that fillers are kinda restricted by canon. Some small plot twists like reigai Rukia winning the fight and backstabbing Nemu and Mats was great. Though I don't like the long suspense in Nozomi's story.

Also when Ichigo was fighting like 6 reigai, I wished he said " I defeated Aizen, so stfu" or smth like that. I understand that it's a bit OOC for him, but still.

hmm like, if his bankai is seriously injured... he is too.
I wonder if you even read my post.

1| Please watch the episode. Soifon indeed went for Komamura, it's more like Komamura won't get hit that easily.
2| Soifon's bankai is homing and also boosts quite a bit of speed combined with a HUGE AoE. I do agree that her shikai is more useful but you can't just sidestep her bankai.
3| Fraccion are slightly below vice-captain level which is quite strong. Yes really.

1) Her bankai was way above his head, she did not go directly after him.
3) It was proven many times that VCs are useless unless they fight someone of the same level. Even 5 VCs probably won't be enough to take down a captain.

The speed of it is debatable. It's hard to tell if it's any faster than Ichigo's getsuga tensho to be honest. And characters have shunpo'd/sonido'd out of that on multiple occasions. About the only thing we can say regarding speed, is that the AoE is so huge, that the target is likely to have a hard time escaping from the blast radius so long as the missile explodes nearby.

I also can't recall anyone flat out stating her bankai to be capable of tracking down it's target. So I'm not sure how you can claim it to have homing capabilities when we've never seen it do such a thing. The first opponent she used it on didn't even attempt to dodge it the first time and was literally barricaded into taking the attack the second time. Komamura didn't try to avoid it either. He used his bankai to take the attack head-on at close range.

Late as ever, but...

Now was that so hard? Bleach ain't great at primo story-telling..It just never has been...If it is to hide it's shortcomings, hide it in the epic epicenter of fantastic animated action...I mean who's pi$$ed at this? Who doesn't champion this? This was the first episode that actually gave the OP Credits justice...

Soi Faux Fong was super-awesome...I don't think regular Soi Fong has had one fight this cool in the history of the show...I was oohing and ahhing much to my personal delight...Komamura was barely staying alive as usual, but even he couldn't drag this epic clash down...It's hilarious (Not that I subscribe to this) but I watched this ep with my buddy and near the end when Komamura was somehow still standing after getting his bear-a$$ kicked six ways from Sunday, my boy yells "Kill that Mormon!" LMMFAOxD...Don't know why but that $hit was funny as hell...

Moving on, Gramps Hot-Nips is still awesome and Byakuya vs. Fakeyaku looks to be even a bigger treat...Even the stuff with the Main villain was good and it looks like next week we somehow skip right to the heart of the final battle...Effin right Bleach...Fight porn done well is well...Finally!

things i have learnt from this arc:

1: it chooses a pace and sticks with it - no episode long chattering or anything like that.
2: the arc takes toe concept of off screen victories and just runs with it, annoyingly...
3: the intro fight scenes are all lies.
4: it's a damn refreshing change, music wise, to not hear the same tired tunes every single time.
5: it's (for the most part) awesome.
