Unless it's not a single word, but a composition of 2 words which could mean "food weaponry". IMO here the word "shokugeki" could be the reference to those contests between chefs, so Shokugeki no Soma actually, shouldn't be change.

I'd prefer Soma x Alica x Erina, and Nikumi S2

I reread the first chapters... the way Erina unprofessionally makes Souma fail really makes me dislike her... I mean... it really is no joke to almost destroy the career of someone just like that because of selfishness. "Tsun" is no excuse for that.

I also noticed that Souma's appearance has gone quite a long way. It actually seems like he has a bit longer hair now and the art overall improved a lot. Maybe Tosh had to learn how to draw guys?

Now that you mention it... Bento is not something you eat just "once in a while" like any dish from a restaurant. It is something to eat every day. So yea, "it is too expensive for a casual meal" even if the quality of the meal is supposed to be gourmet level here.

So, I started reading this a couple of days ago...food porn? You're doing it wrong! - it's still pretty funny though Interesting premise, an elite cooking institution and a highly skilled chef going up against one of the most powerful cooks in the world...his father :O <insert heavy breathing voice>

Character-wise, the least developed are the various polar star members and the Nakiri cousins (not counting the don guy with the bandaged hair for obvious reasons). Soma's development is fast and interesting though, so that really is enough for me...in this kind of manga, you just want his tentacle dishes to rape everyone who dares seek the taste of his cooking

Stopped at 62, I hate leaving arcs midway and this isn't something I'd wait a week for...hope this lasts about 200 chapters or so, it's quite fun.

P.S: Nikumi is hawt.

Oh dude, Erina's grandfather is so buff. Alice is as usual hot. Calling it now, Souma's dish will make the grandfather strip down to the nude.

I suggest you re-read the manga. If she is not awesome, why is everyone in the manga want/kidnap her? Disagree with me is like disagree with the author.
