My Hero Academia Anticipation
The domain name HeroAca.com was registered under Toho and while it could be an OVA or something a TV anime seems more likely. Certainly surprised to see them having taken it up though. Makes it harder to guess which studio will handle it but it seems like a safe bet it'll be a Spring 2016 show.

I think for now we'll leave this locked, but if there is conclusive news we can re-open the thread. (Just send a report when that happens.)
For now, I think we can post these sorts of "rumours" in the Newly-Announced thread, being sure to mark them as rumours. After all, they could well turn out to something else entirely.

I have a strong feeling this would come in spring season, other than that it could best work as a 2-cour show, not sure if it's going to tickle everybody's fancy though since I heard some mixed reactions about how the readers talked about the pacing going for it (haven't read the source though). Or perhaps I'm reading something off.

Massively excited for this but there's not that many chapters yet so, as what others have said, I'm really hoping something along the line of a two-cour anime (and maybe this being a Fall 2016 anime and not Spring 2016). Seriously hoping that this will continue the trend of massively popular manga not needing long-running adaptations.

Hope this gets good staff behind it.....

Personally would take the Magi, Kuroko, AssClass, Sins, Haikyuu!! double cour break, another season approach though. |

Source? That would be a dream come true.
As others have said, Spring 2016 gives them more than enough material for a 2 cour first season. I'm not sure why folks are obsessing over it not having enough chapters to be a "long-running" anime without filler. Look at the way WSJ has treated Kurobas, Haikyuu, AssClass.... What makes the most financial sense is to do two-cour seasons, take a break for the manga to surge ahead, then do another. I thunk it's very likely BnHA will follow that route.

Any idea if that's a normally reliable source?
Pretty strong staff, though surprisingly Gundam heavy. Nagasaki isn't what I would call an A-list director but he's fine - on balance if this turned out to be true I'd be more than thrilled.
