Prediction for the whole SaiMoe 2008 before round 1 begins
http://forums.animesuki.com/showthre...67870&page=139 Previous Picks (Recent lost is higlighted with bold) Round 1 Total Wins and Losses 70-26 http://forums.animesuki.com/showthre...53#post1916353 Round 2 Total Win and Losses 22-10 http://forums.animesuki.com/showthre...55#post1972055 Round 3 Total Win and Losses 12-4 http://forums.animesuki.com/showthre...93#post1993893 Round 4 Total Win and Losses 7-1 http://forums.animesuki.com/showthre...95#post2005295 Reaction It turns out Tamaki have lot of fake votes in the end run. Nagisa is okay with me this just a guaranteed victory for any of my favorite to be in the finals. 3 Favorites Left with two of them advancing in the semis (Kagami and Nagisa), I hope Hinagiku beat Kirino so 3 of my favorites could advance. Tamaki joined Tomoyo in my eliminated favorites. Quarterfinals QF1 - Success QF2 - Failed vote, but both of them are my favorites so just lose one of them. Good work Nagisa. Picks for next match (Starfish Kanon Plot Plagiarism Girl vs Vinegar Girl) QF3 Fuuko Ibuki (Actually I don't really care in this match since none of them are my favorites well still voting the best.) |

Damn, I forgot to take in consideration the winter time switch going only for euro at this time. So I expected the result to be announced later. But nice to know that Nagisa won

I think Kagami will win. There seems to be a pecking order within Kyoani, and LS is at the top it seems. A non Kyoani character had a better chance at beating Kagami. I can only hope Fuuko beats Tsukasa to eliminate an all Lucky Fail final. I am not convinced Hina can take out Tsukasa and Kagamin consecutive matches. I hate to admit it, but she may have a better chance then Kirino

Yay Nagisa. But her next round scares me. Kagami beats Kyou in one round, then beats Tomoyo in the next, and perhaps beats Nagisa in the round after that? Kagami would be quite the Clannad-killer. Yet another unlucky whimsy of the random number generator.
Switching alliances to Tsukasa for the next round.

Statistically, no one can stop Kagami this year. Kagami has also beaten Kyou and Tomoyo, the latter considered the strongest Clannad girl, in successive rounds and will probably add Nagisa to that list. But based on satistics, Tamaki should also have beaten Nagisa, so who knows.

My picks so far:
Round 1: 52-46 Round 2: 15-17 Round 3: 12-4 Round 4: 5-3 Quarterfinals: 1-1 Yesterday: 1-0 I was waffling between Tamaki and Nagisa all day long since I like both of them about equally. I was favoring Tamaki early by a razor-thin margin, but as the day wore on I almost decided to simply abstain rather than abandon support for either of the two. However, I finally cast my vote for Nagisa due to one single factor: the level of petty spite that was being directed toward her both here and elsewhere. Today's match presents a similar choice between two characters that I like about equally, so maybe the negative campaigners can help me decide this one as well? Hint - a) I don't consider Fuuko "retarded" b) I do not give a damn about "Mad Dog" because last I checked he wasn't on the ballot. |
