Her 1st ability scapegoats someone. Eva's pretty smart so I lowered the cost.
Her 2nd ability requires ambition (black) and intelligence (blue). After some prodding by her younger self (hence the black) Eva figured out what The Sweetfish River meant. I'll make the actual card later, but it combines with The Village of Gold and The Key.
Her 3rd ability requires research which is pure blue. Atlas will allow the player to find the shoals, or the key, either way leads to a win condition.
Her power is 3 because she apparently knows kung-fu, though her toughness is 2 because when she dies, she dies.
I think we all know where the flavor text and art comes from so...
Oh Hideyoshi, with your no scenes.
I decided to give him a buffing ability, because of how George explained his dad's fortitude.
I gave him 2 power because in EP3, he was able to throw suspicion off of Eva, for a bit. I would have given him 2 toughness, but because George was bragging about his dad, I have him twice the toughness.
Flavor text and art come from the very beginning of the first game.
This one was hard to make, cause MSPaint loves his glasses so much.
His "Lover" side emphasizes that he is a family man, for each of his family members he will learn more. However, he is a fair man and doesn't want to interrupt his opponent with petty disturbances, so he keeps only his family.
But, if the 6 chosen from the key are dead, then his Fighter comes out.
You have to be ready to handle his Fightin side, your going to need a lot of willpower to handle him, hence the 6 black.
George gets his payback at the beginning of each turn, after his opponent. Like in the Sound Novel, he only gets more serious as time goes on....
I made his 1st power 0, because he never fights, and his toughness 1, because he doesn't seem like the fighting type.
His 2nd power, however, is 3, like his mom's. His toughness is also 3, making him well rounded.
The art is from the 2nd (Lover) and 4th (Fighter) EPs. No flavor text due to lack of space.
HAD TO MAKE THIS. Since they cut it, this was the least I could do. This card functions exactly like Krauss vs Goat-Kun. It costs 6 to summon him (his power level) and he gets the critical he was looking for so long as he's triple crossed! Might be my favorite card of the set if I liked green.
Art is from EP 4, when they are escaping and facing Goat-Kun. Flavor Text is after adding all the damage.
Aside from the times her honor is questioned Natsuhi is pretty OK, so she's white.
Her 1st static ability reflects how she was in EP1. In other words she will take all steps required to protect the children, by isolating them.
Her 1st activated ability (the one with the symbols), reflects her final fight with Beatrice. She uses her husband's, daughter's, and her own color's to do it to.
The art and flavor text are from EP1, as she is firing at Beatrice's portrait.
She's a 1 toughness because when she is around, she could lose it and do some damage. And her toughness is basic human.
I didn't want to make Jessica's card too fancy since I wanted Krauss's family to be mostly common, since they live on the island and what not.
First Strike, aha, Ronove's nose.
The 2nd ability is called "Firebreathing" in MTG, but it works here because the more effort Jessica puts in, the more damage it's going to do.
Art and flavor text are from EP4, as she is giving her true answer.
One of my favorite characters, he was the 1st made of this set so I'll probably adjust rarity later. Or keep it, because he's never freakin around.
Any way, his 1st ability returns a Stake to it's owner's hand... When he was fighting Belphegor, he didn't win by brawn, we won by misdirection, which is what this is doing, it's not killing a stake, he's messing with them.
The 2nd ability comes from when in EP1, he said he would die tonight. Earning the player knowledge, hence a card draw.
The 3rd ability is where he actually uses his Western Film Loving Powers to win the day, or deal 3 damage, same thing.
Art is from the EP3 showdown with Belphegor, the flavor text is from EP1, before the Twilight.
Also one of my favorite characters. This was a fun card to make since I usually play black and blue, and Kyrie fits in the Ethos of those colors.
Her 1st static ability is her "chessboard thinking". When I was making this I was starting to wish it was a pokemon card just so I could write chessboard thinking on it, but whatever. Anywho, the losing 3 cards from your library is your ivestigation, reading your opponent takes time ya know. But it might pay off, since if your opponent has a good deck you can use one of their cards. But if they are just playing fickle (Totally not like Beatrice) then it might be useless, all useless.
Her 2nd ability is an addition to her chessboard thinking, but you need to have some guts to go after your opponent so brazenly, so it's black.
Her 3rd ability comes from her logic. She can gain a lot of knowledge by aloting a little time. (I mean really, a cigarette butt)
Her last ability is just due to the fact that she can usually come up with a plan to deal damage, and she is never suspected by any character, so she's not taking damage.
The art and flavor text both come from the EP3 fight with Leviathan.
Kyrie's power is 0, because she needs some time to plan, hence the tap ability. Her toughness is 3 because she seems to be pretty tough to kill, what with the Seista arrows missing in EP4.
Ihihihihi, this guy. I'm going to make another one of him as a planeswalker, this is his "piece" version. He's hotblooded and emotional, but he loves a mystery. Hence the hybrid mana cost.
The sin counter will be used in combination with Beatrice, or the Epaitaph, once I make them.
The 1st ability is Battler's attempting to solve these mysteries. The more he knows, the more likely he is to succeed.
The 2nd ability is essentially him saying "It's Useless! It's All Useless!". He might get a better clue at whats going on by starting over, but it's certainly making Beatrice happy.
The last ability is when Battler attempts to solve the mystery. It first depends on if he has the right conclusion. If he does, then he wins that game, and can start the next game fresh. If he doesn't have the right conclusion, it depends on whether he used the right methods. If he did, then he needs to backtrack, taking damage. If he didn't then it was all useless, and he knows almost nothing, hence losing the game almost.
The Art I mashed together, It's the guesthouse kid's room with Battler in it. As you can see. The Flavor text is from EP2, when Battler is trying to figure out Jessica's murder.
Gosh dangit Rosa. I wanted to make this card darker, but I figured I can save that stuff for instants and sorceries. Anywho, This is BEST MOM EVER, er, Rosa.
1st ability is synergy with Eva, without this hint she might not have solved the Key.
2nd ability is Rosa using her Wolf and Sheep logic. She is going to hurt people, hurt the puzzle, and help herself.
The last one is supposed to be her slapping Maria. But I suppose it could be anyone. Taking a note from Ange, Rosa was letting out her anger by violance, so it helps her. I guess.
Art and flavor text are from EP4, when Sakutatou, well, you know.
Her power is 0 because all she does is reflected in her abilities, and her toughness is 1 because doesn't last long (excpet that one time, but that's because she used her 2nd ability)
And lastly Maria, totally not creepy bundle of UU.
Her 1st ability is her talking about witches. Either people will like to see a kid talk about her passion, or it's going to distract from the mystery.
Her 2nd ability is Maria's ability to calm a situation down, or derail or stall it. In EP1 it came down to weather she saw Beatrice or not, in EP2, she calmed down Rosa, in EP3 she was rewarded for talking about her passion until she got Rosa spiked. In EP4 she passed the test.
Her last ability is fun. It's black on a white card. Her intense devotion to Beatrice and Witches. Maria is incredibly devoted and delves into the occult to further that, hence the black. It costs a lot because I'm not sure how much a loyalty counter is worth, but it would be fun to target yourself or your opponent. Heh, Maria is loyal to your opponent, backstabber.
The art is from EP4, when Rosa is getting Maria something to eat. The flavor text is from that part of EP4. The one they took a whole episode on.
