It seems to be somewhat in between.

It is a series of loosely related short stories, with no arc volume long arc linking them together.

Each chapter flows into each other cleanly, but can stand alone story wise.

Nevertheless I still wish to annouce it to everyone. As you all know this series has reached 12 vols and its newest vol, vol 13 will be released on November this year!! It seems like this vol is the last of this series!!
