I think it was made on purpose having a cast totaly made off females for make something new to the series.

I just don't want this series to compromise what made it popular. Folding to current trends isn't what made this series good..

While Ishi is a troll with the Yaoi and everything this Yuri junk is next level. It seemed to have toned down after the last chapter at least and we might get more males as time goes on, but yeah I do NOT like the direction this story is taking.

Le Fays problem is she's too passive. It's like being the shy shark in the Shoal. If you aren't aggressive enough you'll miss.out on all the good eats. I mean Le Fay is one of the more conservative girls.

As long as they keep it confined to Junior, meaning the girls from the original series are not involved in any way in yuri scenes I'm ok with it, I'm just not going to read.
Of course if the spin off proves to be incredibly popular and it turns out the future of the DxD franchise is yuri instead of harem I'd be extremely disappointed, I'll keep my fingers crossed this won't be the case.

According to Rippu himself Junior till now did pretty well.

I think a 2nd Volume could came out toward the end of Summer or at least in 2025.

If Ishi wouldn't be able to release anything else likely we would end up with Junior be the only thing that make the series alive, unless a Season 5 wouldn't finally be released but I honestly I drop the ball with hopes for anime's return.

It can't be helped.

There some people who don't believe that Rippu could take the lead of Shin's writting but if we keep up like it would be the best choice, otherwise Shin would be remain uncomplete

I wouldn't mind Rippu as new writter of Main Story and more JR's Volumes if he would able to remain loyal to Ishi's ideas and style.

The Editor can prevent he wouldn't do something he she shouldn't do.

I don't know about that.

Frankly the only way I can see JR DxD being salvaged is adding at least one new male.

Maybe to serve as Zekkas rival of sorts.

I mean the lack of males here makes sense since Kuoh is still new with accepting boys but still this Yuribait is making me sick

It makes sense a good chunk of those who are complaining are probably people who are used to the original, want to see what’s next for Ise, don’t like Yuri,or any of the other numerous reasons.

As for why they are fine with the yaoi jokes it’s because they were played as jokes probably.

Who even says that Rippu came up with the yuri idea? He said he was asked to write Junior because he met Ishibumi and Miyama as a fan of DxD when he was younger.

Ishibumi and Miyama are also credited with the story's ideas and supervision, so for all we know, Rippu didn't come up with the yuri idea. Ishibumi says Rippu was responsible for some original characters introduced.

Besides, his writing style is as close to Ishibumi's as you could possibly get. We should be glad that someone who's been a massive fan of DxD since he was young and dedicated himself to replicating Ishibumi's writing style is carrying on his work.

People complain way too much for little. Besides, it's not Rippu's fault that Ishibumi has been too sick to write DxD. Again, Rippu was asked to write Junior in the first place, lol. According to his Twitter iirc.

Agree that could be a Artificial Sword's Type SG. It would be interesting something new like youkai blade or with divinity.

Ah, right, Satanael is dead. I' kinda want two new swords but I'm not sure Avi is a dual wielder like Zekka, so idk if she'll get two swords.

No other legendary swords have been mentioned in Junior so far, right?
