Wow, very action packed.
Lots of mysteries still to uncover with this series too. Surprised they moved the character development along as much as they did. Will the second half of the story be rather different to the first half? Curious why the Plantation 26 leader guy's hair has gone grey. Nearing end of life span perhaps? Edit: Another thought: wasn't Hiro supposed to be very borderline on saurification? Shouldn't something have happened here? Last edited by kari-no-sugata II; 2018-04-21 at 11:34. |

First, I'm really happy that the action came back in full force. Might be the episode that I enjoyed the most so far in terms of fighting.
It didn't take long and I'm not even surprised to see Zero Two and Hiro on good terms again. That cliffhanger makes me wonder what that hand is about. Also, the adults are probably up to no good again. Always suspected that they had hidden agendas from the start. This is going to be a long wait. (I know it'll be a week break but it will feel longer with this episode)

You watch enough of these Animes and YA SciFi Stories and it be a shocker if the Main Adults were not monsters. And Dr. FranXX has obviously been fronting with his eccentric behavior to a certain degree. |

-- This was probably the beeest ep. I'm very curious of those Custom Franxx 9 pilots. Do genders not matter with that group? And why do they don holographic-looking horns? I'm interested in them for sure. I'm also EXTREMELY glad they concluded the drama in one episode. It really is best not to drag it on.The episode also answered my question about how 02 still remembers some things after getting her memories wiped. Turns out that through the power of strong anime feelings, there were some memories that couldn't be taken away. And the doctors mentioning how he ingested her blood was the probable cause for him being so useless. Also, new Strelizia looks like a red hot lobster lmao. This was definitely the short term redemption episode for Ichigo and 02. Hope everyone on the internet can move on now. Also, who else thinks those holographic tears the Franxx's shed are pretty cute? lmao RIP squad 26 |

Seems like the theory that Ichigo was actually helping wasn’t so stupid after all...although I’ll admit it frustrated the hell out of her and Goro kick started it.
There goes Plantation 13....it got squashed... I wonder where the teams going to be stationed next. Seems like males can be pistils after all...at least for the nines. So that’s what happened to the picture book she swallowed it to keep her memories...though all she remembered was the word darling, her name and that said darling used boku to address himself...to bad he started using ore at some point (guess now we understand why they didn’t recognize each other — although we all guessed that the adults altered their memories), until the end of the episode where Hiro refers to himself by boku and Zero Two refers to herself by watashi for the first time...male and female Jian is it?? Another note i loved the 'shut-up bitch" from goro to ichigo(ofcourse he not used that words but had that effect), he finally man up to make ichigo stop to act so idiot and selfish and again because of her own stupid and bad leadership they almost get killed. Wow this anime is really not failing to delivery many awesome things, finally that crap drama finished, now it's time to find "the truth", kick some klaxxs and some of that crap APE asses geeses, it's become really clear which the big threat is not really the klaxxs but the APE and that fart geeses in control, well the doctor is exactly what i'm expectating the "neutral" guy doing all he want for "his own goal" which is finish that crap world even if he had to play "some evil role" as he did in the past. Will be sad have to wait 2 weeks for the next episode but it's gonna be really, really cool see what gonna happen from there.

I still don't get why any of the adults gave a damn what Ichigo thought. Major Mission and you put your star player on the bench during the Playoffs? That is bad in sports much worse in a life or death war situation. But Ichigo wants to bang Hiro so screw Logic? I mean thank god for Goro but this choice should be above Ichigo and Goro's proverbial Paygrade.

Yeah that theory was actually true but Ichigo wasn't the one who saved the day but our big bro Goro. The only one who can be complimented about what happened today. Ichigo annoyed me there again for a moment. To me it actually confirms what happened last episode. It was not only because of worry that she didn't let Hiro get close to 02 but also her own personal feelings were mixed in there . Goro did the right thing by stepping in to stop Ichigo.
A very touching moment between 02 and Hiro, she apologized about saying he's a fodder. This episode explained that she indeed cares and that she indeed has feelings. Actually if people paid attention in the former episodes you would see that she wasn't a bad person after all like some people portrayed her to be. 02 just has a sad past and those damnn adults did erase their memories. That new transformation of Strelizza was great. Seems like it reacts to strong bonds I guess. Glad to see things are patched up again. We can leave this shipping wars for good and focus on the other things. Because quite a lot of things happened. What was that big hand at the end though. So 9s have also male Pistil.

Not really. If you watched the previous episode, the APE already decided to reinstate 02 back to the Nines before Ichigo requested to do the mission without 02 (Nana said as much). So APE has their own consideration, not based on what Ichigo wanted. And lo and behold, the APE still ended up sending 02 to the frontline this episode.

Episode 15
Lol, so what was even the thematic point of them being separated in such a contrived way when they were just going to get back together in minutes anyway? You know what, it's actually better this way. The previous episode was just so contrived in its attempt to keep ZeroTwo and Hiro apart that I'd be pissed if there long term consequences to it, especially after I was already annoyed at the predictable-ness of it all. And it's what I utterly hated about Aldnoah Zero. I wonder if this story is finally going to get down to the plot now. I was wrong to say this show didn't have the depth to pull of being character-driven because it's actually done a decent job up until now, but at this point they've hinted at so much with the plot and setting that I now find that far more interesting than these characters and want to see that addressed now.

Seems to me APE decided to send 02 back to the Nines but Ichigo is the reason she doesn't have Hiro with her. |

Also take in mind which the whole situation was caused on purpose by the 9a, he does wanted to have 02 back and the only way he could do was making her break apart from hiro to get back being they "ace monster".
