I think I'm beginning to see how Lelouch will get Toudou to join his side...
But the big surprise this week comes from the preview, as many people have noted. It really does look like Suzaku will be getting GEASS powers, which has all sorts of big implications if it should happen that way.

Watch the episode - its just as awesome as i knew it would be.

C.C. floating around in the pool looked pretty impressive (not just her :3), i'm glad this show can still beautiful while it may just focus on making the battles look good.

Onto the subject of Jeremiah - even if i didn't know how the end would turn out, i know i'd still end up feeling upset for him in this episode. In the past the Orange gag was made out to be pretty funny from time to time, like having Villetta mention it when she didn't mean to, though this episode completely turned that around - and it makes sense they'd do that with how this one ends. I don't want him to be dead, and i don't believe he is - reason behind that they focused on the pod leaving his Knightmare frame. I can't see it being next episode when he appears again, though it should be soon & Villetta should be the one to find him.

CL-2 does look pretty awesome in battle, though i didn't receive the same feeling i got from seeing the Lancelot for the first time & in battle. There's no way CL-2 is that amazingly cool, though it shall be interesting to see the two in battle. Toudou is such an awesome character - this episode having the post screentime for him.. though i can see myself saying that for next weeks episode as well. Speaking of next weeks episode.. EPIC!

Cornelia Vs Toudou shall be one to see, though i don't think it'll end up being Toudou joining Zero, the man has far to much pride for something like that to happen. Lancelot arrives on the battlefield - and like we've already mentioned, it does look like we'll get something happening with C.C. & Suzaku. I don't want to say its 100% sure its to do with the Geass power, though it is looking that way.

Holy shit!

The Crimson Lotus Mk. II earned a lot of respect from me in mere minutes than Lancelot has ever gotten in these 10 episodes. THAT is a devastating melee Knightmare Frame. It seems pretty agile too. I think Kallen's going to rely on surprise most of the time. No one's gonna expect her claw arm to extend like that and overload your Frame.

But right now the claw is the only thing going for it. I know there's talk about some other weapons in there, but from first appearances in the anime, I think it'll take a lot more to take down Lancelot since that one seems to have an array of offensive and defensive devices.

This episode evokes that "I can't wait for the next episode!" feeling. I was literally laughing like a maniac after the show.

Eh, that's all I have to say. I can't contribute anything to deep discussion.

EDIT: Can't say I like this new development with Suzaku, but I don't really think Suzaku's power will be the same (mind control) if he is getting one. I think the power has to do with the personality of the user. Lelouch was already a tactitian and a master of deception, so I think his power fit him well. I don't see that working with Suzaku. And judging by the kind of person Suzaku is, I don't think he'd want to use that type of power, so I think it'll be something really different.

I swear, Suzaku must say no or something. Yet I do wonder what he will see in the flashback while CC explain him the contract. He is already way too overpowered to get more power.

My best bet if Suzaku actually agrees to the contract is that he will have a personal "Zero system" inside his head or something.

But I fail to see why Suzaku needs a powerup though, Lancelot already runs circles around everything it has come up against so far. Unless they need some kind of god character running around the battlefield making everyone look like a joke, its kinda pointless.

NOOOooooooo!!! Orange-kun, why are you attempting to leave the famished forces of Britannia so quickly? From which other source can those poor, unfortunate Britannian forces obtain nice wholesome citrus products? Or come on, save them some stupid orange juice, at least! In this hot Britannia weather, has the only means of salvation for Cornelia, Kewell and her chums disappeared? Woe is Britannia.

... Or on a less dramatic note, ole 'Oranje did not actually get smoked, hopefully for all his dedicated fans & thirsty Britannia brethren out there. There's always Viletta to comfort him though if he does survive however and subject to endless taunts from Guilford and Kewell. ^_^

The Crimson Lotus (Guren Nishiki) is amazing - can't wait to see it toast Lancelot. Go Black Knights! ^_^

Looks like orange got seriously fried. He's probably still alive and kicking, but maybe he'll be confined to bed, or disabled, or something. Dunno. I'd like to see him around and active though - that'll be amusing.

Oh did anyone notice that the reporter dude he wants to join Black Knights? That was interesting - guess that explains why he's in the rebellion group shot in the OP animation.

As interesting as this episode was, next episode seems like it's going to be epic. I can't wait.

From what I can gather from the screenshots, it looks like he ejected.

I mean, to eject you pull the levers of your chair to do so. No way he could do that if he was dead. Crippled yes, dead? Not sure.

Seriously, to balance out the rediculous levels of power that Suzaku will have after this will they then be giving Lulu the Strike Freedom?

For crying out loud the series is called Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion for a reason, don't pull another GSD on us again!

Well, raw is currently @98% downloaded so I will go check it out for myself.

Yet, I swear that from all the twists and changes that could happen in this series, I never thought that this could even be a possibility!!!

My greatest question right now is why would CC give it to Suzaku and if she will inform Lelouch of this. I really hope that she won't tell him and keep it as a secret since it will open the possibility that CC is actually being the one managing the tempo/direction of the events and that there is even a higher plan in all this.

But the higher plan will be from her people or from the Emperor himself?

When i first saw Queen Euphie I got the feeling that Kira ... is going to go seed mode. If Kira... I mean Suzaku gets a different Geass then Lulu's it maybe good to watch, but i really dont see Suzaku using Lulu's "King" ability
