Unfortunately it's hard to disagree with this. I finished the Kanzashi and Tatenashi routes, and they also don't have endings, but life-goes-back-to-normal endings as well. I like the game in that it gives you more material with the characters, but I don't see why the makers/writers/directors thought we'd want to see more of the same blockheaded non-conclusive Ichika chasing hijinks instead of conclusive routes where Ichika gets together with the girls on their repective routes. (it's rather legendary how a lot of readers/viewers aren't very big on Ichika's blockheaded-ness)

Spoiler for Kanzashi route:

Tatenashi asks Ichika to convince Kanzahsi to attend the school festival again. (since he lost his memories of Tatenashi asking him to do it the first time) He ends up helping her finish her IS just like in the anime so that she can finish it in time to go to the festival, along with Nohohon. (one of Ichika's classmates and a maid for the Sarashiki household) Kanzashi eventually asks him out on a "date" (she just asks him to come with her to buy an anime disk), but the other girls find out about it by "interrogating" Nohohon. Tatenashi eventually steps in to explain the situation to them and gets them to back off until Kanzashi's IS is finished.
They complete Kanzashi's IS in time to attend the last day of the festival. Tatenashi comes and tells tham that another bomb has been planted in the school, and Tatenashi stays behind as they try to find it. They come back when they can't find it, only to discover it's been planted on Kanzashi's IS. Ichika tries to move it to save Kanzashi's IS, but she doesn't want him to put himself in danger even to save her IS as she feels responsible for him being hurt by the first bomb since she couldn't disarm it. She then figures out that Tatenashi was the one who planted the bomb, after putting together clues like the fact that she was the only one who knew of a bomb threat and the fact there was no bomb on the IS before Tatenashi came. Tatenashi then confesses to having set the fake bomb to try and recreate the events leading to Ichika's amnesia, which she also feels some responsibility for, in an effort to help him recover.
In front of the bonfire, Kanzashi tells Ichika about the school legend where if someone confesses to the person they love in front of the bonfire, they'll be destined to be together forever. (as one of the selectable options earlier in the game points out, this is an odd legend since there were no boys at the school before Ichika ) This actually begins to trigger his memory to come back (he heard about this legend before he lost his memories, which is where you get the aforementiond selectable option), and he recovers his memories just as Kanzashi is about to confess her feelings to him. He hugs her in excitement over recovering his memories, though she pushes him away out of embarrassment.
Later, he's training her in using her IS. The girls show up to stop the two from getting too close, and Kanzashi takes Ichika (Hime-sama Dakko style) and flies off.

Spoiler for Tatenashi route:

Tatenashi asks Ichika to help her with student council duties since their so busy. They do various things such as patrolling as security for the school and paperwork. As they work together, Ichika beings to understand how tiring her job is and how impressive she is for being able to work through it all, including attacks on her by other students to try and win the title of student council president, which is given only to the strongest of the students. The attacks have grown more frequent (reaching around 100 attacks in one day) since she anounced that the class with the most popular festival event in the school festival would win Ichika to do with as they please.
Later Tatenashi asks Ichika to be the prince for the student council's festival project, a Cinderella re-imagining. (yes, that re-imagining ) It's later revealed that the re-imaging is a school-wide real battle (though the form of battle can be anything from actually dueling to word games or food contests) where any girl who gets his crown will be free to do with him as she wants for a day.
After Ichika has managed to survive everyone else, Tatenashi also arrives as a challenger to steal his crown. Ichika tries to fight back but is eventually defeated and his crown taken.
At the bonfire at the end of the festival, Tatenashi announces that the student council won the festival, meaning she won Ichika through the cinderella battle and through the school festival contest. However, she announces that the student council's order for Ichika is to "do as he wants," essentially letting him off the hook. She meets with Ichika at the bonfire and tells him that she feels responsible for his amnesia, as he was there with the bomb because she asked him to look after Kanzashi. (who is notably missing from Tatenashi's entire route other than being mentioned one or two times) She says that she wanted to help him out of responsibility at first. "But now......" She then tells him about the school legend where if someone confesses to the person they love in front of the bonfire, they'll be destined to be together forever. (as one of the selectable options earlier in the game points out, this is an odd legend since there were no boys at the school before Ichika ) This actually begins to trigger his memory to come back just as tatenashi is about to confess her feelings to him. She hugs him in excitement (more like she breast-hugs his face), and the other girls show up to attack Ichika as usual. (even Charlotte gives into this, unfortunately)
Later, Ichika is helping Tatenashi with student council work again. Ichika reminds her that she won his crown and so he has to do what she says for a day, but she says she'll hold onto that deal, as it'll be like she's hogging Ichika for herself.

I can settle for just getting confessions from the girls which, from the sounds of it, we at least technically get. So, all in all, I'm not completely disappointed .

Shinji, I know you're done with your favorite girls in the harem, setting aside Charlotte, but I'd really appreciate you doing the other girls' routes and summarizing them, if you please .

By the way, the PS3's system bonus was the bath towel download product code for the girls, but the PSV's bonus was swimsuits. Does anybody have the PSV version and can take screenshots of Tatenashi's and Kanzashi's swimsuits? We never got to see them inthe TV series, and I don't think we've even gotten novel illustrations of any swimsuits for them.

And I hope there's a walkthrough somewhere for this game, because I'm missing a bunch of CGs and events from the extras menu.

Spoiler for Houki:

Ichika's class decides to go with the Cinderella play they had decided on before the bomb incident, but tweak it back to the original format of just one Cinderella. The class draws lots and Houki is decided for the role of Cinderella, but she can't practice her role correctly because she's too nervous, and Ichika playing his part and calling her "beautiful" as per his lines causes her to lose focus. Eventually Cecilia pulls her over with the other girls to talk about why she can't focus, and Houki confesses that it's because she's worried that this might not bring back Ichika's memories.
Later, Houki gets a call from her family asking her to do the Kaguramai at her family's temple. Her classmates suggest bringing Ichika too, since he saw her doing the dance when they were kids and seeing it again might jog his memory. Meanwhile, Houki ponders why she loves Ichika, thinking that right now she's just using her position as his childhood friend in place of an actual reason for loving him. Houki and Ichika go to her family's shrine for the Kaguramai, but everybody else ends up following them, including Kanzashi. They jump in and attack Ichika when he and Houki have a moment after the dance.
On the day of the play, the roles are now reversed, with all the girls except Houki nervous about playing on the stage. When they get to the part where the prince finds Cinderella at her home, Houki ad-libs and turns it into a kiss scene. The other girls can't do anything to stop it because they'll ruin the play, and Ichika and Houki do actually kiss. (though as Charlotte later points out, it was just on the cheek) After the play, all the girls are mad at Houki for taking advantage, and they all demand kisses from Ichika.
At the bonfire that night, Tatenashi announces that the winner of the school festival was Ichika's class, and Houki tells Ichika about the school legend where if someone confesses to the person they love in front of the bonfire, they'll be destined to be together forever. (as one of the selectable options earlier in the game points out, this is an odd legend since there were no boys at the school before Ichika ) This actually begins to trigger his memory to come back (he heard about this legend before he lost his memories, which is where you get the aforementiond selectable option), and he recovers his memories. He hugs Houki out of excitement and Houki tries to get him to let go so she can confess to him, but ends up pushing him tot he ground instead.
Later, everything has returned perfectly to normal, and Houki reflects that these are the times she enjoys spending with Ichika.

Spoiler for Cecilia:

Ichika's class decides to go with the Cinderella play they had decided on before the bomb incident, but Cecilia tweaks it back to the original format of just one Cinderella. Cecilia thinks about how she can help Ichika recover his memories and she asks Chifuyu for advice, who tells her that there have been cases of people recovering their memories when they face situations in their lives that they didn't face when they had their memories. Cecilia puts together a plan to have Ichika have a fiancee, and after getting all the students' and Chifuyu's approval, they draw lots and Cecilia is selected.
Cecilia starts acting as Ichika's fiancee, saying that Chifuyu told her not to tell him, though he doesn't fully believe that she's really his faincee, and it takes some time and doing for him to start to accept it. She wakes him up in the morning and shares meals with him. Later she secretly brings him out on a date, though the other girls, including Kanzashi, catch on and follow them to make sure Cecilia doesn't go too far. Eventually she tries to kiss him, and the girls attack, thus ruining the whole fiancee plan. Nohohon calsm down the situation by saying she has a plan that will settle the whole problem.
The next day Ichika and Cecilia go to class to find out that her giths as fiancee have been removed, and suddenly everybody claims they're Ichika's fiancee. Nohohon's plan is to have a contest that will decide who Ichika's fiancee is. Ichika's asks Cecilia to explain what;s going on, as he has figured out that she's not really his fiancee. She explains that it was all a plan to help restore his memories, and he thanks her it.
The contest to determine Ichika's fiancee combines a (rather easy) line of quiz questions about Ichika which narrows the candidates down to the five main girls, then a swimsjuit wearing, then the girls all make poems conveying their feelings for Ichika. (none of which Ichika picks up on of course) Ichika is then asked to decide on the winner based on all this, but he says he can't be sure of his choice until he gets his memories back. Chifuyu walks in and says she'll give the class "special lessons" for breaking the deal they made with her. (they promised not to go overboard in their fiancee plan, which they did by a mile )
After the festival and the class' rushed Cinderella play (they were busy with the whole fiancee plan) and at the bonfire, Kanzashi announces Ichika's class won the school festival. Cecilia tells Ichika about the school legend where if someone confesses to the person they love in front of the bonfire, they'll be destined to be together forever. (as one of the selectable options earlier in the game points out, this is an odd legend since there were no boys at the school before Ichika ) This actually begins to trigger his memory to come back (he heard about this legend before he lost his memories, which is where you get the aforementiond selectable option), and he recovers his memories. Later, Ichika wakes up to Cecilia wearing a maid uniform. The rest of the girls, including Kanzashi, all barge in wearing maid uniforms too, all trying to serve their master Ichika.

Houki's route sounds really nice, and Cecilia's seems pretty fun, so all around I can't say I'm disappointed .

I love how Houki still tries to confess even after Ichika gets his memories back, yet he completely ruins it .

The fiancee contest sounds great, and I hope we get translations for each girls' poem eventually .

After the bombing incident, Ichika's class abandons the Cinderella idea they had for the school festival and they decide to go with a restaurant, while Rin is starting to become preoccupied with her worries over Ichika's amnesia. They decide to have a contest to decide who will be the main cook, and because Ichika will be making the final decision of who wins the contest, there are too many contestants who all want Ichika to try their food so they split the contestants into smaller groups of two first. Meanwhile Rin is growing ever more worried about her position in the harem as Ichika's amnesia had eliminated her position as Ichika's second childhood freind, and he has forgotten the promise they made when they were kids.
On the day of the first part of the contest, Rin is paired against Nohohon, though she wins the group contest as do all the other main girls. Except Cecilia. Houki confronts Rin about her worries saying that Rin isn't using the dish she's best at making, and Rin confesses she's worried what would happen if her subuta didn't make Ichika recover his memories. Later, Ichika stops by Rin's room to ask her to help with cleaning his house which he was ordered to do by Chifuyu. (Ichika was maneuvered into asking Rin by Houki)
On a side note, you get a three-option choice here, and if you chooce "W-what reward do I get?" Ichika pats her head, causing Rin to break down into full dere mode. (why can't the harsh girls of the harem act like this more often? )
The next day, Rin arrives at Ichika's house complete with homemade cookies and a genki greeting for Ichika, only to find Chifuyu answering the door, who bluntly reminds her she won't allow any "innapropriate actions." Rin realizes that Chifuyu told Ichika to clean their house in another effort to stir Ichika's memories. CHifuyu eventually says she has something to do and leaves.

Outside Ichika's house, the other girls, including Kanzashi, have followed them. Laura is ready to bust inside while Carlotte tries to keep them calm, but Chifuyu gets the drop on them she and takes them off to a nearby restaurant to get a bite to eat.
Inside, Ichika and Rin take a break, and Ichika says Chifuyu brought all kinds of cooking ingredients. Rin thinks Chifuyu got them so she could make her own food for Ichika to try and stir up his memories. Ichika asks Rin what's been bothering her because he feels like Rin's smile the past few days has been fake. She tells him she's worried about him forgetting their childhood together, but eventually she agrees to make subuta for him. He scarfs it down and says it's delicious, but admits it didn't bring his memories back. Later as Rin is leaving, she runs into the other girls outside, who were with Chifuyu all day. As they get back to the school campus, Houki confirms that Rin is feeling better now before they all head back to their rooms.
The next day, Ichika's class starts the last stage of the cooking contest. The girls all make their food, but Ichika can't decide on which of the girls' cooking is best, so Nohohon says they should should just do a restaurant where they make food from several kinds istead of one type of food.
On the day of the school festival, everybody is dressed up as maids while Ichika is the butler. They get a lot of customers, many of whom are there for Ichika, but also there for the food and Laura in her maid uniform. Tatenashi also drops by to see how Ichika is doing with his amnesia. Later in the day, Ichika takes his break and Rin makes subuta for him.
At the bonfire, Tatenashi announces that Ichika's class won the school festival, and Rin tells Ichika about the school legend where if someone confesses to the person they love in front of the bonfire, they'll be destined to be together forever. (as one of the selectable options earlier in the game points out, this is an odd legend since there were no boys at the school before Ichika ) This actually begins to trigger his memory to come back (he heard about this legend before he lost his memories, which is where you get the aforementiond selectable option), and he recovers his memories. He hugs Rin in excitement (this is probably the most daring of Ichika's hugs out of the routes I've completed so far) and Rin tries to get him to let go so she can confess to him, but ends up pushing him away when she summons her IS which draws the attention of the other girls, thus ruining the confession. The other girls try to use the legend to confess to Ichika, but Rin runs away with him.
Several days later, everything is back to normal. The girls all try to have private lunches with Ichika during class break, but he says he has to use the bathroom and runs away. Rin intercepts him in the hall, and they go to the rooftop for lunch. Rin says she made too much food for her lunch (clearly she intentionally did so to make food for Ichika), but instead of subuta she's made nikujaga for him. Rin watches him eating happily and realizes she loves seeing him happy. The other girls show up and all start eating from Ichika's portion to keep Rin away, and then all say they made too much food themselves (*sigh*) and share portions with Ichika.

It's nice to hear that Rin's route has plenty of Dere in it, since I've always found Rin to be lethal when she went full-blown Dere .

I also like that Houki actually helps out Rin, especially considering the fact that they're both always vying for the "Childhood Friend" position .

Laura ponders what to do now that the school festival is back on with priority on winning the festival to keep Ichika out of Tatenashi;s hands and getting Ichika's memories back. She consults her Clarissa and her German squad, and Clarissa suggests a main cafe, and Ichika as a butler. Laura proposes the idea and the class accepts. Later Laura passes out instructions to the rest of the main girls and tells them to gether their two classes in the auditorium the next morning.
Early the next morning, Laura distributes maid unifors and informs the two classes that they'll be training to be maids every morning like this until the school festival. (though Laura's style of training makes it seem more like straight military training) Laura reports their progress to Chifuyu, who realizes a fatal flaw in Laura's plan.
As the training goes on, Ichika begins to notice that Laura is acting preoccupied and asks Charlotte to discreetly find out what may be troubling her, though she later tells him she doesn't notice anything wrong with her. Some time later, Ichika finds Laura in his bed naked again, but suddenly she begins to sound worried, though she is promptly interupted by the rest of the girls barging in. As the trainign goes on, Laura becomes increasingly distracted, and Ichika discusses it with the other girls in the cafeterium. They all agree that it's because while Laura is training them to act like maids and smile, she realizes she's not goot at smiling herself. Charlotte comes up with a plan to get her more used to smiling.
The next day, Charlotte maneuvers Laura into going to town with Ichika, who takes her to a cat cafe, where pet cats roam around the store. Ichika hands Laura one of the cats to pet, and she smiles from how cute it is. With the plan accomplished they leave the cafe only to run into the other girls who were following them.
On the day of the festival, Laura is back to her old self, though with her new smile which attracts even more customers than just Ichika in his butler uniform. At the bonfire that night, Tatenashi announces Ichika's class won the festival, and Laura tells Ichika about the school legend where if someone confesses to the person they love in front of the bonfire, they'll be destined to be together forever. (as one of the selectable options earlier in the game points out, this is an odd legend since there were no boys at the school before Ichika ) This actually begins to trigger his memory to come back (he heard about this legend before he lost his memories, which is where you get the aforementiond selectable option), and he recovers his memories. Laura moe-cries out of happiness and is about to "solidify their relationship as husband and wife," but they're interrupted by Charlotte who asks why Laura is crying. Ichika tells her and the other girls that he's recovered hismemories, and Charlotte asks what he and Laura were doing, to which Laura answers the aforementioned solidifying of their relationship. Houki, Cecilia, and Rin summon their IS's to attack Ichika, and Ichika summons his IS to run away.
Some days later, Ichika finds Laura asleep in his bed, except this time she;'s in her maid uniform. Charlotte then barges in and for some reason is more angry than when Laura is naked in Ichika's bed. The other girls all also barge in, and they start arguing about a contest to decide who's the better maid.

I'm noticing a severe lack of Kanzashi in all these routes except her own, of course; in Laura's in particular, she's never even mentioned, let alone appears.

Laura's route sounds fun, and I like how she tries to go farther than just a confession once Ichika gets his memories back.

She's got the other girls beat when it comes to forwardness .
