Great way of reminding me why I enjoyed Season1, despite the supposed liberties I heard it had with the Manga's plot.
And White made a 1sec cameo at the very end, in Leo's memories (most likely). A nice way of tying Season1 to this one.

What else can I say? BRING IT ON!!!

Didn't see the Xbox One reference coming. I thought it wasn't even that popular in Japan XD

The name of the console is X-Station, so it's a combination of the two.

What I liked most about this episode was that it showed that Leo has become used to most of the city's craziness which is actual character progression.

RIP Double X.

Wow, this show is still as wild as ever.

The first episode pretty much represents everything about this series and despite more being a sequel it imo gave the general details you need to know without being to overbearing. It's just a fun show about eccentric characters doing wacky things. I like alos the little shout to White just for the sake of continuity nod even if she is non-canon.

New OP isn't as good as the old one, but it's fine.

So will the last episode air about 1 year later this time too

Also is it just me or did I see a hint that Ghost Girl might be alive after all ?

I watched this episode and it feels like a decent shonen action series, but I'm highly confused since its a season 2. does CR have the originial series as well?

Ah, I missed the chaotic reckless mess that was Kekkai Sensen. It's nice to have it back. And it looks like nothing much has changed for Leo and friends.

I think they still have but I think season 1 was more confusing since it focus on characters specifically created for the anime. Still, you need to at least watch episode 1 of season 1 to understand Leo's problem with his sister.

I'd say watch the whole thing. This show is chaotic enough as it is, you need as much backstory as you can get. And while people are more dismissive of "non-canon" characters, those characters were extremely influential to the main character, Leo and at least one of them has already been referenced more than once in just this opening episode. It's a good series and not very long. Watch the whole first season so you can get a handle on Libra and all the characters they involve.

Miss Estevez voiced by Maaya Sakamoto is totally interesting.
She has an ahoge (Araragi) and has both young and old forms (Shinobu).

Also, I think Zapp is a great damage sponge.

So many references, so much hilarity. The BBC earth one cracked me up the most

A nice start to the second season. I'm not sure how much I'd like this season since there's apparently been a director change but it looks like the comedy is still on point. The bigger issue though is that the part I thought was the best of season one was actually anime original and already resolved so I wonder if I'll even stick around now that it's starting from scratch. I don't have a lot of time these days and I've become more and more unforgiving, so unfortunately I may not be able to wait for the best bits like I was able to do for the first season.

[EDIT]

Episode 2

Well, I gues I don't mind sticking around if it's gonna be this much fun.

Oh how I've missed this series, despite the director change it still feels like S1, it still has that fun element i found in the previous season, hopefully it will continue like this!

Man I've really missed the outright bonkers vibe of this show, I'm so glad it finally got a second season.

Man, didn't this episode had more mature jokes than season 1? I mean, Zapp's crotch the sorcerer killing a woman, etc. Is Kekkai Sensen a seinen series? Still, it was really fun.

BTW, so next episode is another about Chain

you sure she really killed that blond??? she looked like one of the characters in the OP and the blond looked more surprised than scared and as if she already knew that girl and her power or something like that.
