Preordered the disc version. Word is that they had to have something held back in order for JACKASS RETAILERS to accept them. It's not surprising seeing how it's a widely accepted practice now, but it's the producers getting all the blame instead of the sellers. I guess they could've picked something better like an overpowered gun instead of a bloody game mode though.

Or, a part of the story (like a prologue or "what happened between 2033 and now"). Then again, the whole 'gotta omit something for profit' mindset has become increasingly prevalent with the advent of F2P games; there's really not much we can do, except maybe protest and not buy DLC (not to be taken seriously, of course ).

At any rate, this game at best will be a remarkable journey into a world ravaged by suffering, and at worst, will be a sweet way to show off my video card I foresee spending hours trying to complete a simple task like find fuel cans, though.

Yes something, but of all the things the developers picked a difficulty mode? Anything else and probably would have slide pass relatively unnoticed.

Not to mention that one messed up line on their website- "Play the game the way it was meant to be played".

Don't download it, you'll regret it... new company cant release a FPS without major game braking graphic glitches.

I really miss the days where I pre-ordered a game where I had physical stuff, for example a Plushie, Art Book, Poster, Etc.

Now all I get for the pre order bonus I get a weapon and an game mode that is already supposed to be in the bloody game in the first place...

Don't download the game off steam, or you'll meet up with a game breaking glitch of terrible resolution glitch where your aim crosshairs are on the left side of the screen, menu's are cut in half and subtitles are huge.

Damn, I hope that isn't the case with the disc version as well. Though if it requires steam I suppose the only hope is to wait for a patch.

I would if my game was still messed up, SORTA fixed it by forcing full screen and deleting the config file in local's metro last light folder.

but here http://forums.steampowered.com/forum....php?t=3121955

just force your resolution and play in windowed mode by turning fullscreen= off it works now but they still need to patch it.

Hmm game runs pretty well if you're not greedy about frames.
Very playable@25fps

^I think that depends on your setup, but yeah I don't think even the highest end systems were getting 60fps at everything maxed 1080p. Though nvidia did just release drivers that supposedly improve it by 10%, might be even more later.

Judging from TB's vids, you need a monster rig to get 60FPS@1080p. Lowering SSAA and the like will gain you massive FPS boost, though. Also check shadows and the like, that usually helps.

I'm getting around 40 FPS on the recommended settings for my system at 1080p. The settings are "very high quality, SSAA is off, texture filtering is AF 16x". These are far from the optimal settings, but the game looks every nice nonetheless.

Wait so you were trying to play it on a TV and that's where the problems started? Or with a monitor too?

My friend pre-ordered this, we played it yesterday, pretty good, but both of us move forward rather than stop and listen to people.
Also lol damage control that it was THQ's idea for the ranger mode to be locked and they just went with it.
