One SS was about Delta's childhood up to where she met Cid. As a child she was born of one of the many mistresses of the chief of her tribe and has been fighting for survival since she was a kid due to how beast man society worked (power = everything). With her innate combat instincts + talent she flourished in her tribe until it was discovered that she developed demonic possession which caused her to be hunted down. She barely managed to escape and while she was resting in the forest Alpha found her and wanted to cure her. She attacked Alpha on instinct and because she wanted to hunt down one last strong prey before she died and Alpha managed to ward her off while pleading with her to calm down. Delta eventually collapsed in exhaustion due to demonic possession. Seeing this Alpha quickly run to found Cid. When Cid arrived, Delta sensed how much of a monster Cid was and quickly showed her belly in surrender (just like how a dog shows it's belly in surrender). Cid was confused since just seconds ago Alpha was warning him about how Delta was dangerous but shrugged it off and cured Delta. Afterwards Delta met Gamma who she dismissed as a weakling and Beta who she dismissed as so so. In Delta's eyes only Alpha was a threat so she once again challenged Alpha for the sake of being "vice-chief" in their tribe. Alpha got pissed and released her magic in response and the SS ends. Given how subservient Delta is of Alpha it could be inferred that Alpha won the fight.

The Nu/Gamma SS was about Nu/Gamma investing in a poor city. Most of the SS is just a noble trying to convince Gamma to invest in their city and Gamma showing disinterest until Nu reports to her that they discovered "oil" nearby. Gamma then happily invest in their city.

The Beta/Alexia/Rose SS is about how they formed their little alliance. I can't recall the exact dialogue but it just basically Alexia and Beta taking shots at each other and then them agreeing to work together for a common cause.

The Elipson/Beta SS is about a day in Elipson's life after the "holy ground arc" (part 3). Elipson only gets 3 hours of sleep everyday (due to Cid's technique which allows for low sleep) and spents the mornings adjusting her slime body and admiring herself in the mirror. After finishing her narcissistic observations of how beautiful she is she walks out of the room to found Beta walking by. Beta notices her and they both glare at each other's chests and then puffed out their chests and rammed each other with their chests like that one anime where girls fight with their boobs/butts (yes I'm serious that's what actually happened). Elipson wins their competition (implying her chest is bigger/better now) and Beta backs down in defeat. The narrator comments that when they were younger this competition was much more one-sided and Beta didn't care until Elipson started "growing" causing it to develop into a actual rivalry. Usually speaking Elipson would show some grace after winning but her ego became sky high because her lord recently praised her. She gloats to Beta that her lord recently praised her figure and when Beta tries to deny it she points out that there's no way she wouldn't notice someone's sights on her feminine parts since beautiful people are sensitive to other people's gaze (Cid was observing Elipson's slime but Elipson misunderstood). She then mockingly praises Beta saying surely someone more beautiful like Beta has also received the lord's gazes. Beta runs away crying since she knows Cid hasn't shown any interest in her. Seeing Beta running away Elipson brags that "natural goods should just disappear from this world" and that only she deserves her lords admiration. The SS ends with the narrator commenting that Cid once said that "you can tell Elipson's ego is high by how much she stacks her slime" and that Elipson would be a "good girl" if not for her high ego.

I think it makes sense from a logical and emotional standpoint and I use these terms very loosely. Cid respects those who work hard and not stole from others to claim power. Mitsugoshi Co while a product of the knowledge of his world, the Seven Shadows did all the hard work to set it up while Cid could never have done it on his own and because he's an idiot.

But most importantly, Cid does indeed have emotional attachments with Shadow Garden. While he thinks they are just pitying him, to went as far to make such elaborate set ups to satisfy his delusions, these are signs of true friends. Of course, he does not want to ruin his friendships with them. After all, they are the ones who tolerate his behavior.

Alexia 100% is attracted to Cid. Beta doesn't know about Rose (probably) but it's sorta implied by how negative she feels about Alexia that she knows or a least senses Alexia's attraction.

I like the premise of the story. It is isekai, but I enjoy the fact that the protagonist is such a dense moron that he doesn't realize what's going on.

I'm curious if the story will ever get to a point where Cid realize this isn't some elaborate play acting and the things he's making up in his mind are actually real or coming true.

Chances are it would break the illusion.

1. It was pretty clear that Delta's brother was just begging to get spared by Delta. As for Beatrix who knows. We don't even know enough about Alpha's backstory to judge her.

2. At the very least Beta doesn't know and if the other members knew it would be implied so Cid is probably the only one who noticed. Cid could be observant in specific situations and he also has unrivaled grasp in magic as well as the human body so it isn't that surprisingly that he's the only one that didn't notice.

3. Never specified when she was a student outside of her maybe being familiar with Rose (implying that she was a 3rd year when she was a student). Cid's a freshman and he's also really lowkey so she wouldn't have known him while he was a student.

4. Cid's a unreliable narrator so I'd trust Epsilon's version more.

5. He didn't confront them. He just felt that it was cool that there were terrorists actually attacking a school.

According to Epsilon, she met Cid first. It was in the a chapter after Epsilon fights Venom. She said that when she reached a mountain top, she witnessed a demon coming to her and that demon was Cid. Cid healed and told her to follow him if she wanted to know the truth of this world. That meant that Cid's story was wrong and that he himself brought Epsilon home.

3. If their goal is to gather Cursed girls for their experiments, don't they have anyone keeping tabs on the descendants of the three heroes?

4. If Hyoro wants to be noticed by women, won't he have to take part in the Senbatsu tournament rather than dragging Cid into it?

The reason why the Shadow Garden members look older is because of their power and physiology. Do remember that they are descended from the heroes that slain the demon, Diabolos but at the same time, inflicted with the curse by the same demon their ancestors fought against.

Think back at the first manga chapter where Cid trains himself to the point he looks too visible to not be seen as a mob character. Well, the curse is the same thing but more extreme. The curse is referred to as when the girls couldn't control their magic anymore that their bodies became physically altered, hence why they looked like lumps of meat. Only after Cid healed them that they turn back to normal albeit with some alterations. That's the point.

2. Hasn't been introduced yet. It was mentioned in chapter 30 that Shadow Garden had a "former named children" in their organization so there are females in the Cult.

3. Given that there seems to be Cursed Children in every part of the globe it could be inferred that the genetics of the Cursed Children has spread too far to keep track of everyone. They do keep track of the important one's given that Nelson knew who Alpha is.

4. Hyoro knows he's piss weak and he'll only embarrass himself if he participated, he wanted to drag Cid into it as a prank.

5. Shadow Garden killed seemingly innocent people who are actually Cult members and have in general wrecked havoc on the public. 3. I did some rechecking and Cid mentions that Hyoro and Jaga are either hospitalized/detained in a mental war after the chocolate incident hence they can no longer participate. Still, that was still stupid of Hyoro especially if he ever did won in the Senbatsu, he'll still be at the mercy of the very big and very tough swordsmen at the God of War Tournament. And it was also wrong of him to drag Cid and Jaga into it.

True Words were never said better.

He says that he's thinking realistically but he's doing something that isn't realistic:

1) Instead of proposing to a normal girl, he asks the Princess of the kingdom to go out with him. The problem is that the Princess is a celebrity, of course people would notice him more, not as a no-name loser but a loser that got dumped. Asking out another girl with less status would have been preferable since she's going to overshadowed by Alexia anyway.

2) He has collected treasures and art and he spent it all, prettying his room which will not last for a couple more years when he graduates.

3) He says that it's impossible to beat guns and missiles but forgets the most common things that he's vulnerable to like the head concussion and motor vehicles, two of which responsible for his death. Even if he's maxed out his physical qualities, he is just a man.

4) He thinks all the bandits are hired actors but he still kills them anyway, as if they can be brought back to life.

Questions

1. If Cid truly believes the Eminence in Shadow is fake, why does he still trying to achieve a fake goal? It's like saying you want to meet Santa Claus but you already know Santa is fake?

2. A smaller gripe during the God of War Tournament is that prior to learning Jimina is Shadow, everyone just thinks Jimina can't beat this person and this person. What kind of mentality is that? If you see Jimina taking on high level swordsmen, clearly he is just as skilled as any others?

3. I don't see the point of Cid making a bet with his friends to ask Alexia out. Couldn't he just ask the princess out without the whole bet thing?

4. I'm surprised Hyoro is still in school. You would think that after gambling all his money in the God of Tournament, his parents would have been more strict or sent him to military school?

5. I totally get Cid is a jerk but he isn't wrong to break up with Alexia considering he was nearly framed and executed and Iris had a part in it. I don't get why Alexia had the right to attack him?

6. Where was Kai and Omega when Epsilon was in her mission to assassinate Mordred? Why didn't they helped her out when she failed?

7. When Claire was kidnapped, Cid just gave up on her. Even if he didn't, if Claire wasn't found, won't Cid's parents pour all their hopes and dreams onto him meaning they'll watch Cid 24/7 and add in tons of homework thus he cannot do whatever he wants anymore?

8. You would think that bandits would wise up after so many bandits went to Midgar and vanished without a trace?
