Just watched ep2. I feel sorry for Origami. From confessed to by the guy she likes to cheated on in record time.

It's clear there wasn't a lot of thinking through of the endgame if he's to tame multiple spirits this way (though a bit unlucky to get in such a situation before taming the first one). Then again, Commander!Kotori seems like someone who wouldn't care. (Am I the only one who severely dislikes her?)

Well, Tohka is officially my favorite girl this show.
But I also like the imouto... I want to see her dere-dere side too.

So these early airings of the episodes are going to keep going right? (as in, they're not going to stop airing the episodes a week early now or anything)

I hope not, because that's one week less of waiting for Kurumi to hit the screen.

I'm surprised myself how much I've fallen for her character, and that's just from the novels.

I felt that they under-powered Tohka or made her look weak in episode 3. From reading the Light Novel, the expression "sword that can cut through the heavens" is what I got from reading it and looking at the anime, it felt really insignificant.

Date A Live 02-03 - The Night Sky/The Black Rabbit

I knew that when Funi posted two episodes of RDG (even though I'm not watching that one), that I'd be able to catch up this week. And so I have, watching the entire Touka date arc play out in one continuous hour. That... was fairly intense, but also funny and entertaining. Touka's sheer enthusiasm for the date was infectiously cute, and the Ask the Audience selectionometer going on in the skybase is a different way of integrating eroge mechanics into an anime world. Though the episodes were heavily Touka-centric, I also liked that Origami's little sideplot is also slowly building up. And the fantasy elements going on with these Spirits are actually kind of cool. All the colors and the details and the magic - I do wonder what kind of world they came from. The OP is really nice, too. It sounds different from Upotte!'s OP - I wasn't expecting the sweet ARMs unit to even continue beyond that show (because come on, look at the name.) I think this can be a solid, enjoyable little show.

Loving the anime so far ^^

One complaint though (but it's just purely out of personal preference), I wish his little sister kept her initial personality (the fake one) since I'm really not into the one she has now.
Aside from that, really awesome anime so far xD
