Another good episode. The show has been showing its momentum the past few weeks and this one isn't a disappointment in my book either. Mask has really starting to grown on me as a character...

The effects on Yggdrasil was something, one of the most unique weapon in Gundam for sure.
The last few episodes have been really fun, lot of cool mobile suits and mobile armor, characters dying, and plot starting clear up (a bit lol).

Bellri and Barara acted like they knew each other? I hope we get more on that next episode. Barara never appeared to be jealous over Manny until now. It was always portrayed as the other way around.
Dang, I suspected Gusion wasn't going to make it, but not by a stray shot. Perfect tragedy elements in play there. Next episode: the long awaited Bellri vs. Mask with Manny also joining in.

I thought the episode was fairly predictable (doesn't help the previous episodes previews keep spoiling things for the next episode :/ ) and certain things like Mask's motivation for not liking Bellri came off as completely petty and vain. It's also really tiring to keep seeing new mech designs/upgrades and then Bellri's is the only one who ever does anything, seriously half of the series has been Bellri fighting alone and everyone else just hangs back, why do we keep getting new designs for Mobile Suits and upgrades for previous ones if they aren't doing a thing with them? I mean I get its based off of selling toy models and stuff but wouldn't the better idea to make these characters/designs do something in order to help sell them? I mean that's the point of like EVERY character getting an upgrade and the G-self having like 6 different backpacks it only uses like 1 or 2 times right to sell the toys? Granted the Arcane did at least do a small something (random beam barrier... yay...) but still Bellri the one fighting and stopping the enemies... The G-Lucifer showed up like... 3 or 4 episodes ago and it hasn't done a single thing yet. |

While it may not look like it it seems Klim understands the psychology of Spacenoids. People burdened by the trauma of the UC Wars that keeps coming back to conquer Earth.
Why do Spacenoids consider Earthnoids warlike? Because they always resist attempts of domination from space. Cumpa is baffled Earthnoids are not proceeeding as to his expectations as warlike people. Basically Spacenoids keep re-writing history to make themselves not the bad guys or aggressors. This goes all the way back to Zeon fanatics who keep coming back. So I can see why a counter ideology or religion was made to curb war tendencies of Spacenoids. But it didn't take. |

I mean I know she set out to wipe out both fleets but still, in the end it was a random stray shot And the fact he refused to wear a normal suit lol, so I guess we can all say his death is partly his own fault |

I wonder if this means they're burying the off hand comment Aida's father made about wondering why Aida and Bellri thought they were siblings.
A lot of AidaxBellri moments this ep leading up to Aida's father dieing. Girl can't catch a break. I feel like this series needs another 26 eps, unless we get some serious kill'em'all going on I can't see how this polygonal standoff can be reasonably resolved. (I'm honestly not 100% on whose on what side anymore at this point) Edit: Its also worth mentioning that it seems they killed off Barara just to clear the way for the MannyxMask ship. Even had Mask give a corny "Your jealousy will get you killed" line. |

Well, the premise states the events of the series is what leads up to the Reconguita. It could end in a "this is only the beginning" kind of like the F91 movie. About the sides, the Capital Army has an alliance with G-IT corps. The Dorrete fleet and Ameria forces were meant to sign a ceasefire, but that blew up due to the interference of said alliance. The Megafauna is currently in support of Ameria, but as a mercenary unit of sorts, as they'll only help in way they see fit. I believe that's it. Barara was never in the way though. That was mostly Manny's insecurities.

Another pretty good episode. The battles were really exciting and loses were found on both sides. The Luin/Manny/Barara triangle felt a bit forced since it was poorly developed throughout the show. But I really liked Yggdrasil and its power (once again, thank you Marvel for introducing me to Norse mythology)
I like Aida and Bellri's relationship, but their group has just become that anti-war group you get in most Gundam series, and Bellri has again become another Gundam pilot that refuses to kill other pilots and soldiers in space (though he kind of ends up doing so anyway, go figure. ) Poor Aida, I knew her dad was going to die since I saw him on the bridge of that ship, I just didn't know how long it would take. We're going into the final battle now. It'll be interesting to see where that goes.
