The TBS AnimeFesta is indeed on the 16th and 17th of August. Not long now.

Actually, this is a single game, but you can divide Clannad into two parts : school part and after story.

hmmm, so the AS is after they graduated and hooked up with the chosen character?

Well, there's only an AS for Nagisa (and theres one for Tomoyo, but thats it's own seperate game)
But pretty much. Though it's not just an epilougue kind of thing, it's the the second part of Clannad, School Life being the first.

I get this strong feeling that there is more to Nagisa's play than what she could remember. Am I right that we will be seeing more of that story in After Story?

I hope After Story comes quickly... This is going to be epic!

So... will AS follow a different love interest, or will it expand on Tomoya and Nagisa? I remeber there is a Tomoyo version, but was that just an OVA...?

After Story will continue Nagisa's route (this I am 110% certain), so it's gonna be Nagisa x Tomoya. Tomoyo After is another game entirely, and is not part of the original Clannad plot.

Definitely Tomoya and Nagisa. They go perfectly together. I like how Tomoya encouraged Nagisa to be confident in herself, and how Nagisa pushed Tomoya to do things he otherwise would not do on his own. Perfect examples would be the drama club climax and the winning basketball shot.

Ahh, the wait for After Story is killing me! On a side note, I hope there will be more artwork for After Story like there is for regular Clannad. I've collected exactly 46 extremely high resolution (2000+ x 2000+ pixels), textless art scans in the image thread and hope for there to be at least 20 more.

you do know that the tomoyo OVA does not continue in ~AS~ right?

I know, I know, that different world setting. But they made a good story with a happy ending and it could have got a different ending.

The game is being translated. You can wait until the patch comes out. A few ppl have been using the unfinsihed patch. Or you can play the game/ read the script (woot 4 the win)

PaletWeb is cheaper, if you can get to what you want when it isn't sold out. It inflates its prices slightly less than HimeyaShop does. Neither comes close to being as good as getting it from Yodobashi Kamera (or some other retail store, but I'm biased in favor of Yodobashi), but I don't think they deliver outside of Japan.
