....which you can usually and easily get at McDonalds or Kentucky chain or even much smaller food stands, nothing special. But again, I don’t know about Japan. That kind of Chicken Wrap might be rare there.

So, in this episode, I’m more impressed with Soma’s marketing strategy rather then the cooking. You can count me surprised . Overall, I still enjoy this episode (and mini-arc) a lot, so that's mighty fine. *thumb up*

Not exactly, what he made is closer to a Vietnamese Spring Roll. Instead of of shrimp and pork he uses fried that uses dark meat.

Well... its a shame that the studio skipped the whole ping pong scene, but thats what happens when you re arrange the order of an entire arc. Aside from that, it was good, though I expected to hear some voices of the elite 10 for the election scene at the beginning.

How is it a spoiler? Other than the ones we know, no one is recognizable. If they showed someone's face up close or if you could tell what their faces look like, then it would have probably been a spoiler.

Episode 19
Damn. The Autumn Elections haven't even started yet and it's awesome. I can already see a whole lot of badass cooking. Ryouko is gonna get pulverized. She's in group A with Nikumi, Soma, Hayama, Ryou and badass Marui. She's a goner for sure. Group B has Yuki, Alice, Megumi and purple-haired chan.
Megumi will probably defeat purple haired girl based on that interaction of theirs. Megumi really needs to believe in herself more. She was the one who got a draw with Shinomiya. Soma just made the work easy and a bit fast. If Soma were there, he would've been like "I didn't do anything".

The way they showed Marui suggests that he is some badass chef. It's either that, or they're fooling us into thinking that. I'm hoping that he really is a badass sonuvabitch chef and he ends up giving someone a hard time. That'll be cool.

Lol Jun is so mad at Joichiro and rightly so. Who wouldn't hate a guy who turns you into a test subject for some nasty food. Lol when Jun ruined Soma's dramatic exit. They should have kept the atmosphere serious throughout for better execution though.

Ponytail guy is super cool. Curry is his forte and the first challenge is a curry challenge. Things ended on a badass note when Soma said that he will beat Hayama's curry even though the curry he tasted was awesome. And then Hayama said that he'll take the top spot, not Soma. Damn. This is going to be so damn awesome.

The preliminaries are the best stopping point. Trying to reach the end of the tournament would just leave us with s coupe messy last episodes.

Since he is Jun's assistant and Jun happens to be almost all about curry, I think it is safe to say that curry is his forte. Along with fragrance and spices, but he is a pro at making curry nevertheless.
