Well then....that IS rather stupid...

Anyway I actually have the feeling that even if he's arrested, he can still run the thing from his 5-star hotel prison room

Stupid question : HOW is the US going to bring Blatter back into the US? And HOW are they going to indict him given his political clout and connections?

1. ask the Swiss to extradite him
2. wait till he travel to a different country then indict him and ask for his extradition.

The last time we were asked to extradite someone, the only thing we managed to do was give Polanski VIP treatment.

I can't help admiring Blatter's survival instincts, but he might be in for it this time. If all those arrested start tattling there's bound to be something that sticks to him.

My guess is than , even if they end up having a solid case against him, there will still have someone to give him shelter. Right now Putin would be a good candidate

Edit: Someone have to post this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qr6ar3xJL_Q

This is top brilliant stuff by John Oliver! He should be knighted.

Meanwhile, it appears that we are getting closer to the snake's head:
Blatter’s top FIFA deputy is said to have transferred money central to bribery case

Come on America and the sponsors...
Like people said, if you get rid of Sepp Blatter, we will stop to make fun of "soccer" word.

A little bit of a shame... I was really hoping the FBI would make the evidence public so the Swiss would arrest him while he's in power. I guess we won't have the ending the Watergate scandal should have have had after all, but I still hope the prosecution will drag his ass in front of a court someday soon.
