That won't matter nearly as much as you hope it will. The morons of the fandom will always complain that it's not more Reiji, no matter how better developed a character they give us. It certainly didn't work with Sekai, even when they consciously modeled his appearance after Reiji.

I think the furries? Eh I mean animal avatar characters will take plenty of hate firepower. That and switch to VR, I know its all the rage these days but still there is something about seeing characters bond with something they actually built themselves get destroyed as compared to a computer program that appeals to me.
Granted the only thing I don't want to see period is another round of trapped in a VR. |

Sometimes, I really don't get the elistists of the Gundam fandom:
OMG! It's not UC!! Booooooo!!! OMG! It's not a serious series about wars and armed conflicts!! Booooooo!!! OMG! It's not about the first GBF characters!! Booooooo!!! OMG! They ditch the Plavsky arenas and went for VR & Avatars!! Booooooo!!! It's like they've never even heard the terms "a new concept" & "open mind". These guys will always whine and complain no matter what .

Do we no this is the same universe as the other GBF? We haven't seen Yajima plastered on anything yet but heck maybe Nils did find a better use for the Particles then powering a model based game. Last edited by Skaddix; 2018-03-08 at 08:26. |

Star Wars fans were actually cheering and crying in joy when ST Prequel Trilogy was announced and Episode 1 trailer was shown. It was only after they watched SWI that they realized that the movie they just watched was not very good. The same thing happened with the Sequel Trilogy so far. So, they're actually pretty open-minded. Now many of them became bitter after Lucas, Kennedy & Disney screwed them repeatedly .
On the other hand, Gundam elitists often bash a Gundam show before it airs just because it's different or not-UC .

so who wants to bet the MG Deep Striker will appear as a special guest cameo?, probably as a boss type unit in the same manner as the PG Exia in Battlelogue, also to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Sentinel, like 00 celebrated its 10th anniversary.

I just realized something, since the RX-78-2 appears in ready player one, which is about VR, do you think that’s what gave Bandai the idea to do Build Divers as VR? They might have made the deal under wraps years ago and got the idea from it.

VR isn't exactly unique to Ready Player One, it's such a generic concept that anyone can think of it as a premise. Not to mention Bandai already did a "videogame with Gunpla" with their Gunpla Builders series that predated Build Fighters.
