Really late to comment my opinions about episode eight.

I was quite a little shaken when the episode ended that quickly, but I quickly understood it was just the first segment of several.

The mini-episodes were quite enjoyable, and I do think that many or most of them were adapted from the manga omake.

Spoiler:

My funniest was with Tsukune working out his sweat and being avoided by Moka due to his stinkiness.

Overall, the episode focused on Ruby's main plot stories at conspiring to get all the female students wearing long and decent skirts way down knee length.

What an irony that Ruby wears sexy lingerie when the wind had her skirt exposed.

Spoiler for End of the episode:

The ending for that episode was somewhat unexpected but welcome to me.

It's been a long time since the first season, that the mysterious principal appeared.

Seemingly, he granted Ruby with a new magical staff and appointed her in charge of keeping things in order with the students.

What's more he discusses about the barrier that surrounds Youkai Academy, in order to prevent the monster and human dimensions from intertwining once more.

It won't since Ikkitousen is close to H in manga and anime.

R+V anime is an ecchi spinoff which what the manga lacks, though in season2 it was overdone and what's worst it was CENSORED!!!!

But seeing the manga balances it out very well even in filler chapters, it won't become like Ikkitousen.

the question is if they're willing to put in pools of blood if they ever have tsukune go berserk.

... heh. Perhaps this is a reaosn to do better in college (currently majoring in engineering, which is said to lead to a lot of money)- get a lot of dough, then go over to Japan and pay a company like Madhouse or Xebec (anyone who's better than GONZO) to animate R+V like it is in the manga

most we can hope for right now is a remake in a few years

Episode 10 was pretty enjoyable. It's all worth it to see Takehito Koyasu in the spotlight --- he did an absolute over the top wonderful job. Brilliant.

Also i like where this is going with Kokoa.

While the idenitty of the transfer student wasn't a shock was still pretty entertaining. Got pretty obvious early on after all. Still good to see Tsukune's harem get highjacked for an episode. Too bad it meant the members of the harem getting mind controlled. This was Kurumu's original plan actually working pretty well.
