Oddly, this ep didn't provide much in the way of "interesting" screenshots, despite focusing on my favorite DD character, since I this episode is one best appreciated with subs methinks.

DOG DAYS' 09 - Ice Sword of the Tsundere

I can't remember an episode of the series where the romantic elements were as heavily at the fore as they are, here. Still, the director's always been more about friendship, so even at the end of the season, if Eclair is a bit more honest, I'm not sure what will happen. The fight with Leon was pretty well-animated. Lots of the new tricks picked up this season with the Bright Power being put to use. Seeing Galette and Biscotti be on such friendly terms after the struggle in the first season is heartwarming. The three nations have come a long way. And hey, shower scene. What's a bit of fanservice more?

Ugh, the Millhi x Cinque interactions get old fast in my book, he acts like an older brother to her by constantly doting. It's obvious she loves him but Cinque.. seems pretty hard headed to begin concerning romance with so I'm not going to expect much. I hope he picks saggy ears though!

Personally, I'm a big Eclair x Cinque fan, even if they are both quite young. I think the whole 'battle couple' thing they have going on makes it cute and innocent, they are a bit like Saito and Louise, minus the whipping.

The Flonyard-ese on the news camera displays were the usual things like REC, MENU, and SOUND. The labels by the two sets of signal strength bars were 'eru' and 'aru" ... AIR for the first, maybe? Not sure about those.

Edit: A friend just suggested "L" and "R."

Edit: Oh, and the big numeral at the lower left was a "2."

"Eru" and "Aru" are "L" and "R" - Left and Right. Probably for a stereo something.

the famous sheer that will make your body move when your where shut beaten to the ground; am i watching a shounen battle manga ? ^^

ep was kinda slow, it didnt make thing move foward too much (cinque still don't understood what eclair realy meant, she just got her feeling sorted out).
i found cou-sama on cinque's laps to be very cute

and ofcourse we got enough ~de arimasu to satisfy me for this time
