Nah... Suzaku's past actions lead to two possible conclusions on his mind; he is either insane or stupid. We now know he has been mentally imbalanced for some time, so stupidity is no longer a trait supported by any evidence.

I guess that depends on when the end is for him. He may not be satisfied until he has killed Zero ie. living for revenge. But I don't know whether I'd be more disappointed if they fight until the very end, and Zero somehow wins and manages to reconcile with Suzaku who then goes off to live as a hermit/wanderer who goes around helping people.

Since a fairytale ending is not expected, we can't predict survival or death of any remaining characters at the end. All we know is that it wouldn't be pleasant; and sometimes being alive at the end of it all, only means the surviving characters will get to suffer for longer. Anything goes right now. We can probably start laying bets on who will survive when the season 2 end credits roll, casino roulette table style. Lulu, Zero (can die without killing Lulu), Suzaku, Nanually, Diethard, CC, Kallen, Orange, Cecile, Lloyd, VV, Emperor, Schneizel, Todo, Laksharta, Kaguya, Nina, Villetta, Milley and Shirely.... That should be all the characters who's fate people actually care about.

Lelouch and how far he'll go or will he actually save his humanity. Suzaku and what path he'll take now after this tragedy. Cornelia because let's face it, Euphie was probably one of the only ones keeping her from being completely ruthless, now her 'heart' is gone what will she do and how far will she go for revenge and how she'll feel when she finds out zero is lelouch. Shneizel and if he's really as 'nice' as he appears to be. I don't trust the nice guy attitude. Not all the emperor's kids can be that nice can they? Well besides Euphie.... Nina...is she gonna go all psycho avenger and completely own zero in ganymede lmao That's basically it. Everyone else and their side stories are of no real consequence IMHO. Anyway, this episode got a 9 from me. The reactions, especially Nina's lol, were just as expected. Now the story can go forward and finally the 'real' war will start. |

I also found Animax already lists ep24 at their official site: http://www.animax.co.jp/program/week...9&time_zone=24 RCC hasn't list the schedule of that day yet, but may do it in two days: http://www.rcc-tv.jp/program/?day=20070407&program=tv |

For me the best part is the name of new country made by Zero.
Gasshuukoku nippon United States of Japan I LOL hard on that one And this ep adds alot of new components to the anime: V.V., some guy in china (maybe related to CC?), and CC talking to lulu's mother. This ep is more like a new starting point for this anime ;D |

No character can possibly succumb to the lack of logic that Shinn's character possesses. I believed that his character had initially had some potential and that was washed down the drain after a few episodes. I'm glad to say that this show hasn't given in to merchandising as GSD did.
In the midst of all this destruction, Lelouch is bound to fall into the path that only one person has possibly planned for him... This is all like a game of chess, believe it or not. Both sides are beginning to lose valuable players. It's just a matter of how many players(pieces) Lelouch loses before he reaches his objective (checkmate!). |

Chuugoku housou and Animax most likely won't be airing those at those times. It's most likely misinformation they got long time ago, and haven't adjusted the schedule yet. I can bet almost anything on it. Besides, that list is old. Animax showed episode 17.5 on one of the week, yet it's not updated on there.

I hope that Zero lost to Suzaku and badly injured (missing an arm or leg) and comeback on season 2 as captain hook.
Suzaku might win but cannot turn a tide of war, he retreat (hope he take Nunnally with him) but sware to came back at all cost. Nina, self destruct with her nuclear knightmare and destroy Mt' Fuji. |

My review, to get it off my chest
Zero basically has destroyed anything that Suzaku had hold dear or dreamed of. Had Euphie not gone rambo, Lelouch most defintely would've taken over and with him back on the political arena, he would have a lot of stuff to work with in the Empire.(NOTE: I'm going by CG world, not real modern world here) So Suzaku's path has been crushed and since he was Euphie's knight no doubt he'll be labelled along with the "bloody bitch of Britannia." Thus, joining with Zero is completely out of the question and he's been completely isolated from the japanese people. Even if they gain indepedence he won't be accepted. Plus, he knows now what had happened to Euphie (I doubt VV actually knew the full extent of the situation but simply knew why Euphie went berserk) so that's also out of the question too. He has no choice but to follow his hatred and fight for Britannia. With VV on scene, Suzaku may in fact start fighting directly under Schnizel. Nunnally most defintely is Lelouch's only connection to humanity but even then, we can see that the distance between the two is increasing. How long until it breaks we'll see. CC and VV, on difference sides of the scale yet they keep in contact with each other. When Suzaku touched CC he saw Marianne who was quite sad. I wonder if she is sad by the amount of destruction being waged by Lelouch and can only wish for CC to ensure his safety. I'm curious about VV's motives since he techincally saved Lelouch's life. Darlton, oh dear, he's on his way to Cornelia, no doubt that he's been geassed to kill her. At this point I dont' think Lelouch cares about his mother's death anymore but simply focus on Nunnally. Cornelia is another interesting subject. Now her world is dead, I'm hoping she survives but chances for any britannians to survive at this point is quite low. All in all, I can't help but think of the Chinese from Command and Conquer Generals. Almost in every mission they always get ambushed (Having nearly 2/3 of their forces wiped out) and have to make do with what they got. Cornelia unfortunately has again lost a large portion of her forces. But I like what I see Britannia's last line of defence - A berserker, a crazed table humping girl, several guys with visors, an orange, and a women whose lost her world. Vs. +10,000 angry japanese people Heh, the japanese don't stand a chance. |
