Good choice, the MG High Mobility Zaku's are great kits from everything I have seen, and there are alot of good options to choose from

This is all ZeroXSEED's fault and GN Archer being an imouto. Now I want to get a GN Archer to be an imouto for my Company of GM...

...great, now in my mind I've got GM kyoudai giving Arios a hard time for wanting to date their imouto. And then the hostility intensifies when they learn Arios intends to gattai with Archer.

Command: Lewdness is forbidden!
Command Space: Agreed! Get 'im!
Sniper II: Get your filthy hands off my imouto!
GM Striker: GAE BOLG!!!
Jesta Cannon: You came to the wrong neighbourhood, Gundam!
Jegan: I'm with you bros!
105 Dagger: For our pure and beautiful imouto!
Sniper K9: Sic 'em, Hound!
ECOAS Jegan: Target found. Eliminating.

Meanwhile...

GM Quel: Of all the stupid... *facepalm*
Jesta: ...fuck this shit and these idiots, I'm getting outta here. *facepalm*
Stark Jegan: I'm going to go take Kshatriya on a date, laters.

GN Archer: Baka oniichan-tachi.

This is quite possibly the strangest thing I have ever read on a model focused thread

they both exist in 1/144 HG as well as 1/100 MG

Consult dalong when in doubt.

I've built the 1/100 Mg Zaku 2.0 black high mobility tristar. It's a great looking kit for display, but it's not the easiest MG out there. Shin's white version is essentially a recolor of thta and still collecting dust in my closet.

I wouldn't mind buying one if it really doesn't require gluing/painting.

Glue is not needed.

And while, technically you don't need to paint them, if you want the MS to look just like in the anime, you would have to use paint, or at the very least a thin marker to do the lining.

Do you have a before-and-after comparison picture?

Hmm, it looks ok without the paint, but the lining does make it look better.

Looks good. But I'll be honest: I think I like the Proto-Zero design better from the EW elements (mainly proportions) thrown in.

Proto-Zero is twice as expensive though.

Though if I were to buy a Master Grade, that would probably be it. Wing Zero is my favorite Gundam.

SO when you guys paint, you apply Gundam Markers, correct? Or do you need to formulate special modelling paint?

Also, I decided to splurge a little - have a Build Booster MK-II, GN Archer and Amazing Weapon Binder on the way. Total price with shipping was RM101 or 101 cans of cola, so that's the last I'm spending for a while. Need to prioritise the rest of my money, lol.

Basically I decided to get the GN Archer so that my GM Command Space would have his imouto, then I got the Amazing Binder and Build Booster Mk-II so that Command Space and Command wouldn't be outgunned by their new imouto.

...also, I can't believe my GN Archer is this cute!

Most notable changes are new hip armour that mounts beam sabers and vulcans on the feet. The rest looks pretty similar, but if you put them side by side you can tell the Dagger's details have been streamlined and simplified to varying degrees all over.
Striker packs are fully compatible between the two, however.

Some of us use gundam markers, like me, they are the best for color touch ups, or recoloring smaller parts

Any paint will work for gunpla, as long as they are intended for plastic use, then its just up to you to pick the brand and type of paint

Its actually a recolor of the 105 Dagger+Gunbarrel kit, but with the Gunbarrel switched out for the Aile pack
