First!!
I just watched ep 7 actually, and was wondering what would be next from there. We up to ep 8 now, and if based on the OP, we only have one girl left (the teacher-looking) one... Maybe it gonna be lots of non-conquering arcs (kinda like the cake, or the bugged game in S1); or conquest girl gonna pay some homages... Gonna be interesting when you can't predict what's coming next

First half was the education of Elsie about Keima's games. That blush when he embraced her was great. She was so close to getting the right one in the end.
Second half had the return of Haqua. Enjoyed how she used Elsie's line to introduce herself. The mom is just great. Theat model was interesting with it's dolls being able to move towards voice commands. Lol at what Haqua made the doll Keima do to the doll version of herself. And in typical fashion Elsie walks in at the right moment to call him a baka. I guess she figured it out that Haqua used the report as an excuse to see Keima. Keima had it wrong when he said she came for Elsie.

They did the same in S1, teasing Haqua way before she could make an appearance.
Zaratustra in Kami Nomi. Finally!!!!! So obvious it should have been done Day One. With a nice introduction of Yokkyun too. This coupled with the ending picture... Hmmm... Good episode, with lots of Kami wisdom. Game related of course, but still wisdom ("you never buy enough copies of a good game", so true). Lol at the "I can win with my PFP backside". Definitely, there are gamers, true gamers, and there is Kami. So... Three episodes for Nagase... which lets one last episode remaining. Probably a documentary about a certain website... + the "war inside my head"? Giving how the current episode was held, there is a high chance the anime team redo the same "2 chapters in one episode" structure.

The anime didn't despair me! HAQUA!
but before Haqua professor Kami will teach Elsie about gal games. 2D vs 3D!!! the 2D use DREAMS! to make up for the missing dream! Kami also met up with Yokyun in the fair. The 2nd part is my favorite. With Haqua finally shows up again. She is full of HNNNNNGGG moments. She is a good example of tsundere though she still hurts with her scythe Haqua use report as a tsundere excuse , Kami being 3D dumb but that's those 2 relationship. Elsie is around to mess around

1 million points for Haqua! And 8/10 for Sekaiichi Hatsukoi, though I don't know what episode that was...
Elsie was really cute in her segment. The horror of learning about games slowly dawning upon her was hilarious. There was a bit of ship-tease in there too, though that came and went quickly. Last but not least - the fateful encounter with Yokkyun (manga readers will get more mileage out of that one). And there was this: My lips are sealed. Haqua's segment was perfectly animated Ah, the anime Haqua really brings a dash of hotness to the character. Nice to see Haqua's occasional playfulness being brought out as well. That ending pic.... (Hmm... the eye colours are different) |

The most epic part of the episode had to be the part where Keima doll did some things to Haqua doll that were so risque, they had to censor it per Japanese legal requirements. Then the reaction from Elsie after she saw it as well.
Do I sense jealousy from Elsie? I always that she saw Keima in a more friendly/brotherly way? Or is it because she felt that Keima was doing "inappropriate" things with her best friend? Elsie was sharp enough in the end to realize that Haqua had feelings for Keima.

oooooh, i guess the ending pic is the final girl of this season. nice. don't spoil youself if you're not a manga reader.
Haqua will become more popular as she makes more appearances. she is very special and could very well lead us into season 3. |

I thought it had a bit of "little sister jealous her adored big brother now has a girlfriend who he wants to spend time with instead of her" aspect to it. And not just any girlfriend, but Haqua who is Elsie's best friend. Anyone who has ever dated the best friend of their younger sister knows that whole thing can get complicated.

Anyway looks like animators did the Haqua chapter but with some changes, no more moanings from others now! Though I hoped for the new conquest to start this week, looks like I'll have to wait longer.

hahaha
this is a really great non-conquest episode.... I enjoy the first half very much.... Keima's education is really hilarous.... Elsie is also very cute the second half really answer our request of Haqua's reports episode. Putting this after Chihiro's arc is better in my opinion.... Haqua need to be more honest... lol Is this episode give a flag for Keima X Elsie and Keima X Haqua??? XD Last edited by Pellissier; 2011-05-31 at 00:56. Personally I rather liked the "You're back too soon! We just saw you last chapter!" joke, but I can understand why the anime did it like this. The first half was needed to show that Keima is back to normal and it's easier for them to mix two short stories into one episode rather than interrupting an arc.
