League of Explorers is out.
And for the record, the pros have been looking forward to this adventure. They have some meta-changing plans with this once it's fully released. I really like how the 3rd/final encounter of the 1st wing is designed. Hope to see more like that. The Mechazod brawl from last week was also a good idea.

1st wing of League of Explorers is damn fun.
The voice acting is spot on. There's a consistent storyline going on. Continual banter between Reno and Elise. 3rd encounter was a great idea. Heroic modes were fun to deduce. And the general response to this adventure has been very positive. Until week 2 and whatever good times that brings.

Started to get back into HS but not seriously. This weeks brawl was interesting/hard at first, but once you play a Mage deck with 1-2 mana cost minions/deck with Mana Wurm and Flamewaker, it's ridiculously easy and gets boring fast. Gets some of the quests done fast.
Aside from that, the new adventure is interesting. Not sure why week 3 hasn't been unlocked yet.

Ahaha, I disenchanted Malygos to craft Justicar Trueheart.
Just to get Malygos back from the Free pack you get in winning your first tavern brawl Of the most legendaries, I think I have gotten Malygos atleast 5 times already.

Burst Shaman might be more cancerous than Secret Paladin atm. Sir Finley Mrrgglton gave them hero power options that enable 5 turn zergs with the right draws.
After this final wing, I expect Priest to really pick up. It already has appeared a lot more after Entomb was unlocked in the 3rd wing.

My friend in high legend confirmed what I thought would happen. Burst Shaman, Secret Paladin and the new version of Priest are being spammed. He also said that in tournament play, that Patron Warrior and the new Priest along with the aggros were the common ones. He also said Druid but that Druid had a poor record in recent times.
That Christmas Brawl....what kind of sadistic bastard thought this one up.... League of Explorers was genius. Most cards have a place in Constructed and/or Arena. Discover is a very potent mechanic. Definitely the best set the Hearthstone team has done since Goblins vs Gnomes, possibly full stop. Easily the best adventure. Now that League of Explorers is done, returned to doing Arena. And I have to say, all those LoE cards have definitely given a real jolt to the quality of drafts. Spoiler for My last 48 hours in Arena:
Spoiler for The most divine pack reward I will probably ever get:
Spoiler for Decklist of the final run:

I definitely agree that this adventure really turned out nicely. A lot of cards that really work nicely in decks which is always good. The fewer completely useless cards the better .
Had plenty of fun with the little story in this one. Plus they seem to be getting a bit more creative for the fights. Some of which not actually being battles but rather struggles to escape. Interesting seeing which decks have become more prevalent for the various classes. I'm not sure if it's that common, but plenty of fun being had with the Murloc OTK for Paladin. Anyfin Can Happen certainly has some crazy burst potential if you build the deck right. Can't comment on Arena. Haven't been doing that nearly as much lately. Mostly since I haven't had that many good runs so somewhat stopped seeing that much benefit for it.

Still, the news itself isn't bad. A lot of things people had asked for. More deck slots is good. And changing things up with the formats works. Can keep playing as normal in wild and have a very different card pool with standard. Takes care of some problems for newer players, have a mode they can focus on and less cards they have to try and get. Seems like something hearthstone probably needed to do. Though it's going to hurt as someone who likes his Paladin deck (losing Muster for Battle and Shielded Minibot is rough).

So far it feels like aggro/face decks are the big winners as midrange/control decks loses a lot of their anti-aggro counters.
I am looking forward to the basic/classic set card nerfs, I'm pretty sure Savage Roar will be one of the nerfed cards.
