I think the pink haired kid is Zabimaru or at least part of him since I heard they wer spliting him into 2 spirts. Wait i see the baboon part now the rather busty monkey girl the kid is chained to. Makes me wonder if Renji took Mayuri up on his offer to upgrade Zabimaru


These guys remind me of Arrancar. Makes me wonder if the shinigami had become hollows then Arrancar if this is what they would have ended up looking like.

Mayuri's zanpanktuo spirit looks weird and creepy as him.
And somehow every time I look at Suzumebachi, I get a feeling that Soi Fon's zanpanktuo is a spoiled kid, something similar to Yachiru. If that's true I really can't wait to see those two talk with each other since Soi Fon is all up tied Hope to see some teasing and bullying from spirit side.

Senbonzakura looks more like it's Komamura's hahaha, Minazuki looks nothing like it's released form, Tenken looks more like a Rujinjakka to me and Shunsui's not cute at all

Katen Kyoukotsu is Shunsui's right? She looks more like a bird... I guess it explains why he always goes after cute girls Although spirit has big chest.

Somehow the look of Momo's spirit has nothing similar to its powers... spirit looks too calm.
Hoozukimaru also doesn't look the way I would expect him... isn't he too big?

EDIT: Hmm... in specials we had been introduced to Senbonzakura, Sode no Shirayuki, Zabimaru, Kageshini, Wabisuke, Haineko, Hyounimaru and Ashisogi Jizou...

Any ideas who will introduce who next? I'm kinda lost as to whom Mayuri might introduce...

Well neko means cat in Japanese. ^_^ And if you've looked at Matsu's sword, the hilt is pink.

But it's true that the zanpakuto spirits have been made more humanoid for this anime-only arc so it's possible that Haineko's true appearance is different, just like Hyourinmaru is normally a large ice dragon and not a human.

Momo's spirits name doesn't even have much to do with it powers it means flying plum tree (well i guess she looks a little wooden) but it acts as a focus for Momo's spiritual power so the fire ball thing might not be the only thing she can do with it. but her outfit does but me in mind of a miko.

Ruri'iro Kujaku=Azure Peacock not sure why you would be suprized he look bird like.

Hōzukimaru=Demon Light and it's true form is rather huge he seems fiting.

All in all I feel that all of them seem fiting

Maybe some other captain? Soi fon would make sence since both their zanpanktuo are based on poison... but then again Hitsugaya had no connection with Mayuri except Mayuri having his poisonouse apple candies
