I am very glad to know that this show is licensed. It is well deserved the attention. I don't really like Viz, but, well, better than nothing.

I will definitely buy the first DVD to see how good it is. Even if the dub isn't that great, if they do a good job on the subs I will get the complete series. I hope they keep thy word Shinigami with an explination at the beginning.

It was only a matter of time with the manga being released in the Shoujo Beat line...

It's another one of those "manga is so good I get impatient and import the rest of it in japanese" mangas

Considerig I saw the anime a long time ago, I might actually buy this series. Ah, who am I kidding, I totally can't afford it

The Right Stuf has listed Viz's release of Full Moon volume 1 as discontinued. A Viz representative was not available for comment today.

There was a tape that you got through Ribon which had a little mini episode in it. I wonder if Viz managed to secure the rights to that too...

Yes, there was a 9-minute OVA called 'Cute Cute Adventure'. Mitsuki has a television appearance but forgets to take Takuto and Meroko along, so she can't change into Full Moon. Meanwhile, Takuto and Meroko race across town in their chibi forms to catch up with her.

It used to be listed here at AnimeSuki, if I remember correctly, but I guess it was taken down when the show was licensed.

So I don't get it, I heard it was licensed, but then a week later they decide not to release the DVDs?

On the ANN forums, the staff's guess is that it was a "Solictation error", whatever that means. The DVD is still listed on TRSI as "on order from manufacturer"

I'm happy but surprised that Fmos got licensed. I imagined that either they wouldn't be able to get the licensing for all the songs in the show, or that a 52ep shoujo series wouldn't be able to float financially in America -- you're not going to get a TV license out of it probably and most dubbed songs are horrible compared to the originals...

I fear those songs getting dubbed, I really do. If it's really true then I'll likely buy the first DVD to see how they did it but I don't have high hopes.

They might not dub them because The Right Stuf didn't dub Gravitation's songs and ADV didn't dub the Wandaba Style songs either.

The clock-thingy will stop hunting my dreams! Horry!
There's still no news from VIZ about the DVDs?

better than nothing??!?!?!? did u see what they did to hikaru no go?!?!?! FMwS is gonna drop in ranking as of the best anime, and it'll be because of the crap dubbing by viz.

Since when are you forced to listen to the dub of a show when you buy a DVD that has both an English and Japanese track?

I, for one, would actually be interested in seeing if Viz will dub the songs and hear how that comes out.

Can someone (in spoilers tag) please tell me how Eichi-kun died? (I saw the entire series, but since it's been so long I don't remember how he died).
