so can anyone confirm this information?

Yakusoku no Neverland anime starts in 2019 on "noitaminA" timeslot of Fuji TV in January 2019. Produced by Aniplex and animation production studio is A-1 subsidiary Cloverworks (A-1 Pictures Koenji rebranded)
looking at twitter, it looks like it has been confirmed.

Nobody expected that, huh?

Man, this is going to be the first time noitaminA will air an adaptation of a Shonen Jump manga alright.

I was actually right about the part that it will most likely air late at night though.

Wait, Noitamina? Now that's a surprise.

I'm around chapter 50 so far, but this is very "Made in Abyss" level of storytelling. I'm looking forward to this, even though it's obvious where the anime will end.

I don't put it quite on that level personally, either in terms of writing or art. It's damn good, no doubt - but it always strikes me as a genius premise with good but not great execution.

I can agree with that. I'm just noting the parallels. There's a great sense of "peeling away the layers" in both stories where the writing makes you think you know....and then the next layer arrives and things get more complicated. It's definitely not quite on the level of Made in Abyss but I'm okay with putting them next to each other for now.

Maaya Uchida as Norman? I forgot, has she voiced boys before? I know she has great range so I'm not too worried but I was pretty surprised to see her name.

Hm.. I dont think she did (unless you count Alluka from HxH). Though she mentioned that she wanted to play a male character before, so good luck to her.
Mariya Ise as Ray is definitely the best casting decision, though.

We'll have to wait and see then.

Yeah, Mariya Ise is perfect for Ray. He's the same type of character as Killua.

Not a huge fan of Uchida personally, and it’s always a gamble to go with a seiyuu who doesn’t have much experience (or any) playing males. But maybe she’ll surprise me.

As the new series that'll replace this one has been announced and is slated to air on April 2019, I guess it's safe to say it could either be 1-cour only or a spilt-cour in case there could be a 2nd season
