^ Ruka's existence is unacceptable in this manga for the very reason. Much more because she is so open about her feelings for him and truly doing her best to make him acknowledge her. But we know she has zero chance which makes it even more of a torture.

Btw, I stick by the fact that I despised the way chapter 65 panned out. It was probably the worst chapter in a long while simply because it felt like the author just put Ruka there to use her as a plot device.

If this weren't pure romance manga, if the romance is merely subplot, like for example a mystery manga like This Man, then Ruka can be appreciated
