Wow, this episode was really intense!
It was mostly focused on Yamaguchi, but I would have liked to see a bit more Kageyama and Hinata.
Can't wait for the next one!

No. 12 was a nice surprise.
Putting him in the game was a good choice!
Yamaguchi was amazing!!
He was their ace. Their knight in shining armor.
A hail marry when they needed it the most.
And most importantly.. he came through for them!!
Still, it wasn't enough to win so fast.

Lol they really got the Mad Dog (#16) mad this episode.

Exciting match. I liked the plays between both teams and the match analysis too. By this pacing, I expect this final set to conclude the series with what it has to offer. Not too surprising considering that there's not too much to adapt after this. It's always interesting to see the background story about certain players though including the Mad Dog.

Such an awesome cliffhanger. This is one of these few times that I got excited rather than "damn, the waiting game begins". Quite an intense match.

Episode 24

*Stands up and gives a standing ovation for the non-stop action, brilliant and spectacular animation*

As a manga follower of this title and even knowing what happens, I was floored by this episode. It would be hard to top how this episode was done.

Wow, the latest match...

Two words: Simply amazing.

I loved the teamwork, risky plays, serves, returns, music, etc. It was everything I hoped for. Grats to Karasuno though. I mean, the match was a close one but they deserved the win. Can't wait to see the finale and season 3 for Fall.

Speaking of music, this show has consistently exceeded at placing very appropriate bgm at those key scenes or to set up those scenes. The music alone at times hypes up the situation so well.

That last play is possibly the best scene in a sports anime that I've ever seen.

I am still so hyped up and it's been close to an hour since I have watched the episode. This is an amazing sports anime and this episode is easily one of the best out there ever at generating the atmosphere of anticipation and exhilaration.

Suck it Oikawa!!! Gods, but this was an emotional one. I loved seeing how much they grew even throughout the match itself. Although I found it a bit insulting that Oikawa kept on thinking Tobio, Tobio when it was the whole awesome team he was up against, not just Kageyama. It's a bit insulting to my fav Chibi-chan.

yeah, from the way I see it, had Hinata not been so keen on improving, that last point would have been blocked the same way in season 1 where Oikawa had anticipated Kageyama was gonna use his "strongest weapon" when he was desperate,

now in this match Oikawa was once again correct about Kageyama unleashing his best arsenal to win the game, BUT Oikawa had made one big miscaculation: that last attack was no longer "Kageyama's weapon", but Kageyama AND Hinata's attack, Oikawa lost to both of them, not just Kageyama

how ironic, Oikawa - a setter, famous for his ability to lead the team, underestimated the other part of the "weirdo combo" and lost

Gosh, it's detail like this that makes me love Haikyuu more and more

That was quick! Here is a blurb from ANN:
"This year's 16th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine is announcing on Saturday that the third television anime season based on Haruichi Furudate's Haikyu!! volleyball manga has been green-lit for this fall. The season will begin with Karasuno High's match with Spoiler (highlight the following white text to read) [Shiratorizawa Academy.]"

wow, I thought for sure the 3rd would be in the spring season next year

the fall season starts around October right? so at the current pacing (~75 chapters per season), in six month they would barely have ended enough manga material to adapt, if the 3rd season also has 25 episodes that is
