I need to know the odds of this coming out to the states, I assumed since the original Playstation 2 and PSP versions came out to the states a U.S. release would be confirmed by default but it appears that's not the case this time.
I would like to know whether or not the chances of it coming out in the states are High, that way I can determine if I should just get the original Playstation 2 version get comfortable with the gameplay and story and just settle with the Japanese version of Persona 4 Golden on the Vita.

My guess is that the party member's Personas can be upgraded a second time now. How that will work I'm not sure, but it's pretty awesome. Looking forward to seeing the other 3rd stage ones. BTW, It's been stated that Yousuke's is named "Takehaya Susano-o" (Lol at his fire afro) and Chie's is "Haraedo no Okami".
Also, it's been revealed that the ski trip event takes place in the month of January in the game. That month was completely absent from the PS2 original, so it's good to see they're throwing in at least one extra month of game-time.

I wouldn't mind if they added the rest of the year too. I mean if Atlus included the February month as well, it'd be a good excuse to throw in a Valentine's Day event. It'd probably be good for a few laughs in the best-case scenario.
Plus, it'd be the first Persona game to actually have a whole year time-span if they did that. I was always peeved how the beginning of P3 and P4 says you get a year, and yet it always cuts out a month or two.

It doesn't make much sense since he's a wind persona (unless he gets a new element), but he looks a lot cooler than Susanoo (whom I never liked much, Ninja frog was better). Not seeing much different between Suzuka Gongen and the new persona here, other than the golden armor.

But it's the same with Susanoo : he just grow an afro and put a coat on (though the coloc scheme is totally different). |

But yeah, how can Izanagi become more ass kicking than Okami? Maybe it will be a mid-stage evolution between regular and Okami, or maybe Okami will be more playable and the Ultimate form will be the Final Boss Killed and obtained throught a 20-way fusion

Yeah, the upgraded persona designs look sweet. The new events sound really cool, too. I'm also guessing that this means more Social Links will be available? I mean, the new character Marie pretty much seems to be a given, but will there be more than that? Heh, imagine the main character hanging out with Igor of all people outside the velvet room.

Pfft, there's an easy way for Atlus to do this. . .let the player be able to fuse whatever skills they want on Izanagi-no-Okami, make it fuseable at any time in New Game+ like all the other Personae, and make it saveable on the compendium. Seriously, it's a New Game+ bonus, the player's already going to be destroying everything in sight on that playthrough. What the heck was the point of not allowing skill inheritance, making it fusable only at level 90 and making it not saveable in the compendium? A fully customizable and saveable Izanagi-no-Okami that I can fuse at any level in New Game+ is the main thing I'm hoping for in Golden.
