The way I see it, the game itself is a huge restriction placed on a nen ability, and obviously a huge restriction like "can only be used on this island by other people who may or may be against me who've knowingly chosen to risk their lives against other players to find and collect every spellcard from one particular shop that sells only random packs and then converts all of them into another card of which only three can exist at any time" is going to make the effect proportionally larger. I wouldn't be surprised if the guy "in charge of reinforcement" didn't have any healing abilities at all. It's more like they're all pooling their power into a shared "Greed Island" ability that wouldn't work without all of them and its own conditions. |

Gon isn't insane, he's beyond insane and gar. That breath card is pretty awesome. Don't see why they needed to heal them ans none of them are in life threatening conditions. Nice that they got 99 cards now. Seems like Hisoka was meeting with that guy, wonder if they worked out a deal. Interesting way to get the 0 card.

Genthru took Gon's full punch to the gut. Gon's punch, which had been freaking everyone out in the volleyball game. I wouldn't be surprised if he was suffer massive internal hemorrhaging too. I see no reason not to take the character's word for it that not healing them would be equivalent to leaving them to die.

Anyone took an interest in the GI tutorial at the end of episode? It's a bit surprising that Killua can be quite a pervert, lol

I was talking specifically about Gon's last punch. He stopped being selfish after he landed his kick (he felt satisfied since he managed to repay Genthru's ability, at the cost of his arm). He followed through the plan, marked by his "Osu" yell after he said he was done being selfish.

The anime seemed to de-emphasize this, but in the manga there was the implication that Genthru was accepting Gon's challenge from right after they finished the volleyball match. When Gon interrupted his Contact with Tsezuguerra. Killua and Biscuit's plans were structured around that challenge.
Maybe it seems a bit weird to think that Genthru would care about that so much, but then again he wasn't taking any of the kids seriously so he might have figured there was no reason not to. |
